Grand Boulevard by the New Center area and open since 1987 AFG offers local young girls and women educational support, vocational guidance, mentoring and counseling in short. In addition, AFG also provide needed shelter to young girls who were once hopeless, aged 16-21. This fantastic non profit is offering hope and choices to girls who were hopeless. They also offer prevention programs for high risk youth including homeless women. At night staff and volunteers patrol the streets of Detroit handing out prevention packets to those in need.
