Both experiences worked well. Somehow parking near the front gate (in the old golf course) worked very well! I was amazed by the show! The Wayne Regional Fair, which runs for 10 days in late September and early October has a clean, safe, family friendly feel to it. It's all about agriculture, food, and the midway. Entertainment is roaming and very low key. Don't look for any big name concerts. Lots of educational booths, fair competitions in animals, the arts, crafts, collectible, gardening, canning, and baking categories, including youth and adults. Local vendors have booths, extension Master Gardeners offer expert garden information, churches are active with balloon animals to cooking hotdogs, burgers, baked spaghetti, baloney sandwiches, and more at reasonable prices. Midway offers rides for all ages and thrill seeking levels! Games too! Still going strong at 72!
