The company I work for has an account with them. The delivery service is good. However the prices are too high compared to other places. The worst thing is the customer service and account representatives. I have called and emailed them several times to establish some pricing. I have never heard back from them. The one time that a Rep called me back was when I ordered some paper Sparkle paper towels WB Mason sent Elegant which are just really bad. Since we trusted that WB Mason would send something comparable but they were not. The account rep told us that they could place another order for the Sparkle brand which we would have to pay for. WB Mason is helpful until you really need help. I do not think this is a way to treat a long time customer. read more

I have been in my office for 17 years and recently started experiencing MORE ISSUES THAN NORMAL. The delivery is absolutely awful. I tried being nice and just asking that they please deliver within our business hours opposed to LEAVING OUR MERCHANDISE OUTSIDE TO BE STOLEN! The guy that delivers is horrible... always on the phone, I hear his slick comments about our hours (he is unaware that our hours differ during tax season) and at this point I am sure he is upset about me reporting our stolen packages, so he obviously has some personal feelings against me (and he is a black guy and I am a white woman and i feel his animosity towards me is due to me being a white woman!! and just to clarify, I NEVER FEEL THIS WAY when I am around any persons!!!!) I do not in any way, feel comfortable with this driver coming into our office any longer!! ... it is a no win!! I tried to rectify the issue with WB Mason on numerous occasions, but it is pretty much just resolved as "DEAL WITH IT"!!! I think it is time to deal with it and move on!!! My apologies in advance for the long post this will be. Back in 2019, I attended a Card Party at a school in New York and I happen to win (2) tickets to a Yankee Game with field seats. These tickets were sponsored by WB Mason. As a long time Yankee fan, I was thrilled to have won! I immediately contacted a WB Mason representative and soon was connected with Courtney Schaeffer. This is where the dream quickly became a nightmare. Courtney was completely unresponsive to emails, and I never managed to attend a game in 2019. Frustrated with the outcome, in 2020 I tried my luck at contacting WB's customer service number, and somehow worked my way up to a Sales Representative, Steven Sica. I had expressed my concerns to Steven regarding the lack of communication from Courtney and our absence of Yankee tickets. He understood my frustration, and as an apology he offered the WB Mason suite for one game, so long as it was not a game where WB Mason would be using it to do business with another company. I was beyond grateful and appreciative as I felt this was a fair deal given I missed the previous season. Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened not too long after, and again, nothing was provided. Finally, after years, I messaged them on Facebook and was shocked (happily) that I received a response. After providing a backstory and email/texts receipts, I was informed a representative from WB Mason would contact me. Today, at 10:20 AM, Matt Rodgers (VP of Marketing) contacts me regarding this matter. He states "We want to put this to bed, and resolve this". He then proceeds to offer me (2) tickets in Section 202. Not only did I initially go from Field level seats (that average at ($120), to Suite tickets, to ($19) seats. I politely explained the conversations I had previously had and the offer I was given. Mr. Rogers simply replied "that was 5 years ago, and a lot has changed". I even attempted to negotiate somewhat better seats or at least more tickets, to which he expressed his unwillingness to cater to anything outside his offer. Five years I have been trying to claim a prize that WB Mason offered, and I felt beyond disrespected and insulted by this conversation. Mr. Rodgers was disingenuous on the phone and simply wanted me to take this offer and move on. For years, I had disliked WB Mason for the way they handled business with me. I had thought this phone call would make up for years of bad business, but instead it confirmed the lack of legitimacy, respect, and compassion that WB Mason has. I ordered a standing desk at a higher price than listed elsewhere because at WB Mason's website, they had the item in stock. According to the desk manufacturer, the particular size and color wouldn't be available until early January. Since I needed it quickly, I was thrilled to find it at WB Mason. Having never ordered from them before I thought that the reason why they had it and the manufacturer didn't was because they had stock. Anyway, 7 days after the order was placed when I never got an email with an update on delivery, I called customer service. The next day I got a cancelation email. Calling customer service did nothing - only fake apologies. I would never order from this company again.. read more

When I first signed on, I thought what a great find but after having to deal with 2 days of price matching back and forth (they are thee most expensive for almost everything) having to take screen shots and so on, then dealing with the very poor customer service, specifically mine rep whom seems to always reject every request (saying sorry, my apologies, we can not or similar) and just plain ignorance by replying to my email requests with her rejection screen shots, without saying a word (no greeting, no thank yous, no you're welcomes, no have a nice day, nothing), it's just not worth my excruciating time anymore. read more

Overpriced and customer service is nasty and useless. I wanted to return a toner which was wrong but they refused since the box wasn't in perfect condition. Rather than shipping it to me in a box they slap the shipping label on the toner box. So now it can't be returned. They make it so you can't return anything. read more

At one point, a WB Mason sales person was coming into my office once a month to try and sign us up. They eventually found out I was personally responsible for supply purchasing and were soon walking straight up to my desk to harass me about signing up. They would stand over my shoulder and listen to private business calls, and would hang around my desk as long as it took for me to give them attention. I had kindly informed them on multiple occasions that if I was interested I would reach out to them to make a purchase. A line was crossed when they asked me to pull up some office supply invoices and they would price match for me right there. I had to call their office and request they do not come back. Fast forward a few months and they are attempting to 'win our business' again. I'm SUPER pissed. I get that these guys are just trying to do their job. But they don't listen to me and are downright harassing us. My company's paper and ink are supplied but the company that brokered our printer rental. I rarely have to purchase office supplies and will usually just go to costco or Walmart the few times a year I need to get pens or post it's. WB Masons prices are not competitive for the few office supplies I order every year. I am not going to waste my time or anyone else's price comparing $5 worth of paper clips. read more

The worst customer service I have experienced in many years. I ordered an $800 file cabinet from them, and after a few days getting no update on the order or any info available on line, I began calling and sending emails to find out when it would be shipped and delivered. After a week of this, I have only reached a human being once. That person said she'd get the answer and get back to me the next day. (Really? The info is not on a computer?) She did not get back to me. 4 calls and 4 unanswered emails later, I am trying to cancel the order, but not even sure the cancellation is being received. Their salespeople always show up at my job unannounced. Annoying and rude as hell. They're not even supposed to be allowed into the building, but they get around that by finding some unsuspecting party in another company on another floor to make an appointment with. Then, they just go from floor to floor annoying everybody else. I despise pushy salespeople and these guys are the worst! read more

Be very careful if you do business with WB. They are great at making you believe you are getting a great deal. I fell for it hook line and sinker. They give what turns out to be low-ball pricing (sell you at below cost in some cases) then after a short time they raise your prices. You probably got comfortable and stopped paying attention to the pricing on the invoice which is what I did. A competitor came in one day and we sat down and looked at my invoices and sure enough within a few months all my pricing went way up. That was my fault for not paying attention. I no longer do business with WB. So be careful and pay attention. You know the old saying "if it to good to be true it usually is" that applies here. read more

Mathew Goldman & Barry Greene were exceptionally helpful and dedicated to our office remodeling project for our Diamond Company's headquarters in Manhattan. We have a union building and they were able to find us union-certified installers for the furniture. The selections they offered Max-On, HON and National were vast and high in variety though maintaining fair pricing. They were swift with their replies, contacted us after-hours, via cellphone and maintained an open line of communication throughout the project vetting. They were able to also give their design team a list of ideas which they implemented into a set of drafts that we could show our team upon project proposal and clearly demonstrated their efficacy, intelligence, honest and fair professionalism. We are beyond grateful for their, help, assistance, guidance and look forward to working with them again in the near future! read more

I love WB Mason. Been using them for over 10 years. My sales rep Andrew makes sure that I am happy with the pricing. If a competitor comes by and promises cheaper prices, I call Andrew and he makes it even cheaper. For those that ask, well, why wasn't it that cheap in the first place? At the time that I was looking for a supplies company I did vigorous research on multiple supply companies and WB was the best hands down. Lots of companies do offer cheaper prices to hook you but I am loyal to WB as long as they work with me. Customer for life. read more

OK sooooo unbelievable that you see the commercials over and over "SAME DAY DELIVERY" so we called from our office in NYC and they said that they don't deliver but they can send through the Post Office. They said that NYC wasn't a destination for delivery. Pretty amazing that NYC dosent qualify for Delivery! And on top of that the postal route is the worst one. No UPS or others that are easier and much more reliable. Phony ads phony Company! read more

i am no longer cursing staples out after this companies failure to give decent customer service. this company sends their reps non stop to hook you , and when they do, and sign you up they disappear like jimmy hoffa a short time later. i must admit however that the prices are better then staples and other office supply stuff, but many items are just as expensive, so its better to stock up on the stuff you need that are priced right. when you place an order before 11 am , they deliver the same day, which is very convient. but when you call your sales rep for help, good luck. the gimmick is to sign you up with a business account and once they got you, they promise the best prices and with each order, prices keep rising as time goes by. my only reason i join was that they would come to my job two to three times a day, like vultures and my boss was starting to get pissed off, so i joined to stop the madness. my advice is to order online with a respectable company or just stick with staples, cause its not worth the stress just to save a couple of bucks. read more

My company has been using WB Mason for our supplies for a year now, and it hasn't gotten any better. Unfortunately in that time, we have had numerous items that I have to call back weeks later and ask "what happened to this?" I have to double check every packing slip to make sure it matches what we received because often our account manager will come back and say, "you received this already." There are only 4 people in my office, and I open each box personally, so I would have known if we'd received it or not. Usually it's break-room items (i.e. creamer), but one time it took 2 months of back & forth to finally get a case of paper. I had to drive to our local staples and buy some just to keep us running. I currently have items missing from an order made over 3 weeks ago and no status. Also - they do not provide tracking numbers and they don't have a "previously ordered" option when searching for items. read more
