Great location right out of the Sbahn station. This place is apparently an old post office that has…read morebeen renovated and converted into a concert venue and club. Nice adaptive reuse, and with the location, not likely to have residential conflicts in the future.
Likes: Bar areas in the concert area, and one just adjacent for getting a drink or two and still hearing the show without issue. Some seating in the outer bar area for those of us with a need for that on occasion (bad back = need to sit down once in a while)
Dislikes: In spite of the no smoking signs, some douchebags were still lighting up in the concert hall, and security was not vigilant in making them stop it. The signs are only as good as the enforcement people. Minus 1 star for that fail.
Design issue: The floor is flat, except for a few risers in the very back. That means the stage needs to be high enough so that the shorter patrons have some chance of seeing the show over Lurch. I saw some short girls craning to see anything - the stage needs to go up a few feet to improve sight lines for all.
Coat check was generally efficient, bar staff multi-lingual and quite nice.
