Simply, we regretted ever talking to them never mind throwing $1500.00 away and loosing 3months of time with empty promises.

As a small business owner, I trusted this company for years, paying for hosting and maintenance…read more When I raised concerns about competitors plagiarizing my content and my poor search visibility, Jason repeatedly told me the problem was my old site. On his advice, I invested thousands of dollars and countless hours into a new website. Despite our long-standing relationship, my project was treated like a low-effort, low-cost job. There was no proper consultation to understand my business needs. I was only asked about aesthetics. During development, I asked for my store to be transferred, but instead was given a redirect page back to the old site. Only after approving the quote was I told that a proper store would cost more. I was left to come up with a solution on my own. I raised concerns about using the Elementor editing platform. Jason dismissed them, saying it was something new and I simply had to learn it. After launch, when my site could not be found online, he told me to use ChatGPT to figure out why. ChatGPT revealed structural issues preventing the site from being indexed by Google. Later, Jason confirmed that Elementor had to be removed, validating my initial concerns. Even the simplest suggested fixes required additional payment. Every time I raised concerns, I was either sent another AI-generated response or threatened with termination. Within 90 days of receiving thousands of dollars for my new website and hosting services (paid in June 2025 to cover hosting through the end of the year), Jason abruptly terminated our long-standing relationship with a ChatGPT-generated email. He blamed me for not giving "clear directions" -- as if a homeowner should tell an engineer how to build the house. The truth is, there was no professional consultation or leadership at any stage. When I pressed for accountability, Jason offered me a refund but tied it to an arbitrary same-day deadline. I accepted the refund in good faith and within his deadline. However, he then imposed an unreasonable condition: that I retrieve all of my original website copy within a two-hour window after my eight-hour workday, between 7 PM and 9 PM. I explained this was impossible after a full workday and requested a short extension until 11:00 a.m. the following day. In response, Jason revoked the refund -- along with every promise attached to it. In the end, I was told there would be no refund, no further support, and no transition -- despite thousands of dollars already paid. On September 30, I retrieved my original work as promised. Jason was notified, yet my email was ignored. The consequences go beyond my own business. I am now without a host, with a site that lacks basic functionality that no other developer wants to fix, and facing ongoing financial losses. Other companies I work with are also incurring extra costs to update their links because of this abrupt termination. On Truth and Reconciliation Day, instead of honouring my refund, the company posted a sudden influx of 5-star reviews, showing priorities were on appearances over real operations - something I learned firsthand. Despite meeting all conditions for a refund, the payment has not been processed. It is reasonable and appropriate that the company follow through on the refund they offered. I strongly urge anyone considering this company to look beyond surface ratings and read the full details of customer feedback.
