While she was doing a deep clean in the bathroom I straighten up the kitchen a bit so it wasn't overwhelming with clutter. Then she started the deep clean in the living room & when I was done I walked into the living room & I was thanking God for sending her to me. Then she started in the kitchen. While I sat down in the living room I looked around & she did an outstanding job. Then I got the text my dad was on his way home. We originally hired Cathy because she came with wonderful references. The first time she came, she…read moredid an ok job (of course we were understanding that it was the first time in our house). The second time, she brought a helper. She agreed on one price and then told my husband to give her $20 more than what was expected. Her last time here, she came again with her helper. She stayed for under 2 hours and left because she had scheduled three other houses for the same day. After she left there were still coffee stains on our counter, crumbs on the table, dog hair around the house, dust where she dusted, as she didn't use any product, and our stainless steel refrigerator had to be completely wiped down. She cleaned the laundry room, but did not return the runner to the floor, and vacuumed without using attachments to clean the tighter areas. She is very nice and friendly, and maybe she does a better job for others, but for $100, in house where only two of us live, we expected not to have to re-clean so many areas after she left. She only had to clean one bedroom and one bathroom. There were even still dog hairs in our bathroom. She changed and washed our sheets but did not stay long enough for them to even be put in the dryer. I just think she is overextended and if you want your house to be clean when she is done, I don't recommend hiring her.
