Honestly an amazing record store and I'm so glad this location and another of their locations are pretty close to where I live! I have been a few times but most recently came here for record store day and it was a nice smooth event from the second I got there to the second I left! The staff is very knowledgeable and even pointed to the places on the walls where my items I was hunting for, would be. Thank god I was close to the front of the line because they only had 2 copies of one of the records I wanted and I managed to get one before anyone in front of me bought them! I really love that they had a one item per person limit for the event. The space is nice and small but they have so many different records around that I could've spent half a day here looking through everything they had to offer! The layout is very easy to have and everything is nicely labeled and easy to search for! The prices for new records are a bit pricey, but equal to other places in the area as well as stores online. We walked in to "We got the Beat" record store first thing we noticed how clean it was and organized. We were greeted right away by the workers. They were very friendly and helpful. Showing us where things were and telling us about record day.. I saw the guitar pics. Also when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised they were so cool. I definitely had to pick some up. My husband found the record he's been looking for and he was so happy. They also have a nice selection of CDs, Tapes, toys for collectors mostly music related toys which are cool. Brand new record shop in Dania Beach and ten miles from their other location in Lauderhill. Due to the recent grand opening, I'm assuming thats the reason why there is no sign affixed to the building for a clear visual and advertisement from the Griffin Roadway. Only a tiny business name exists on the front glass door. In my opinion, this store is very condensed with a decent variety of music accessories including record players, music posters, speakers and vinyl storage crates with an odd addition of action figures. The used and new vinyl are displayed by genre at mid-range prices. Good supply of classic albums although a majority are new digital versions. read more

My latest hobby is hunting for vintage jazz & reggae vinyls. I was so excited to stumble upon the multi-location record business. Definitely passes the vibe check. There are new & used vinyls; the new vinyls are cataloged & can be searched while the used vinyls are a treasure hunt. Personally, I scavenge the used section but I love that there are unused modern & vintage vinyls. I scored a Mary Poppins vinyl with Julie Andrews & Dick Van Dyke for $3! Off to reminisce about my childhood! read more

Great record store with a well-curated selection and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and the prices are very affordable for the quality offered. Hands down best record store in SoFlo! Even though it's a new store, it's got a great selection, including rare and hard to find stuff. If they don't have it, they will find it! Customer service is superb and the store itself is just cool looking with an awesome Elton John mural. Great location, easy to get to if you're coming from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, it's right in the middle of 95 and 441 on Griffin Rd. Other cool places in that plaza. Highly recommend! read more
