When you are planning a cruise out of Dover and need a place to eat, look this place up. We needed a place to stay on our way to a cruise to Spain, Portugal, and Italy. We found this place on Hotels.com. It is off the beaten path from London. Best thing a person can find is a place that is so much better than you can possibly imagine. We started with lunch. I ordered the roast pork belly, my daughter had the fish and chips. I cannot put into words how absolutely delicious the pork belly was. The cabbage in the celeriac confit were absolutely to die for. My daughter's fish and chips was the best we'd had this entire trip. My daughter was astonished when she tried the chips and raved about how perfect they were. They were so amazing that for dinner we shared an order after our creme brulee. We finished our lunch with Irish Coffee to go. A much deserved nap came next before we ventured out to take pictures of the beautiful surroundings. We decided to order the chips again after we finished dessert. We are taking Irish coffee back to our room. I hope at some point in my life to come back here. read more
