However the average price per pair is around £7 so you can't really grumble! They cater for ladies size 3-9 -- I find that they are in the minority of value shoe shops which sell size 9 shoes at affordable prices so they definitely get my approval. I find that in general the sizing is quite small, however, some styles do run large and when I do find a size 9 that fits, I buy a few pairs. Their sales are also pretty good - after xmas I have found some great sub-£10 boots in my size, as well as flat pumps for as little as £3 per pair. They also have some branded mens shoes at a fraction of what they cost in catalogues and sports shops. All in all the quality is not outstanding but if you are looking for a cheap pair of stylish shoes for a night out or casual shoes for work, then I definitely recommend Shoe Zone.

The staff were so full of appologies for not being able to help , which made me feel that i had let them down by not giving them a sale . Although it is small, there is still quite a good range of footwear, especially for girls - for whom there are some very pretty girly styles as well as the more practical school shoes. Boy shoes are a little more boring, especially as they get older. the quality of the shoes is excellent, but you do pay highly for this quality - around £30 for a pair of shoes - more for boots. They do however have cheaper ranges like the Doodles summer sandshoes which are excellent value. the staff are friendly, polite and helpful - although there can be quite a long wait for fitting as it does seem to be short staffed at busy periods. They do offer a really nice touch of photographing babies when they get their first shoes and giving it to you in a presentation paper frame. Nice touch.

The shop itself is pretty big and it seems clean and inviting. they always have some shoes outside to lure you in, but only left feet so they don't go missing! the last time I was in, the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Also, I find their sizing to be quite erratic.
