The first floor is normally used for hanging out and loud people. -Need coffee? We have a cyber cafe that's got lots of caffeine options. -Can't find a book? Well we probably can't either. The thing is people take books off of shelves and move them around or leave them places so there's a good chance it could be awhile before it makes it back to it's place on the shelf. -For the love of god this is a library so don't walk in yelling on your cellphone you dumba$$.

I really appreciate that because our trip to the library is usually hurried and we need to find good books fast. The librarians always help us find the books we are looking for. Don't miss out on their app, Cloud Library, that lets you borrow e-books and audio books. We use the self-checkout every time and it's really fast and easy. You can even scan your library card barcode on the library app. The library also has a number of private rooms you can borrow.

They have been independently and family-owned for over 40 years, and they are a must-stop for all book and music lovers out there. This store is HUGE with over half-a-million books, movies, music and memorabilia. However, I think what makes them extra special is the curated selection of Horror and Thriller books, including some very unique collectibles. I am more into contemporary, so keep in mind those books are located on the top floor of their second building. Their children's book section was also incredible but frankly I didn't have the patience to go through them. This store can be a little overwhelming so definitely take a breath and ask for help if you can't find the genre you are looking for.
