If you want a firm that treats every case like it's their very first, Wozniak and Associates is the firm for you! They are extraordinarily incompetent. Though they've been a firm for over 20 years, they appear to have NO idea what they're doing. Their phones and emails seem unable to contact the outside world, as they will never return any of your messages. They will do their best to keep you as in the dark and confused as possible, then charge you over and over and over when you call and try to get any shred of information about the confusing and life-ruining process you're currently going through. I was in an awful situation and I hoped a lawyer could help me. Jay Ping was definitely not the lawyer to call. Jay does all sorts of delightful things like joke that he's "not a morning person" then show up late for your court hearing with a dry cleaning tag still attached to his suit! I begged him for 6 months to get my ex to send my passport, social security card and birth certificate that he was holding hostage. Jay did nothing. I told him my ex drained the bank account. Jay did nothing the first time, and didn't even call me back when I told him it happened a second time. I told him my pet was sick and I wanted to come back to my house to see her before she died. He did nothing and I never saw her again. I told him I needed things from my house as I had hardly any clothing or belongings. He did nothing. I drove 14 hours by myself to get into my house. He did nothing and I had to call a locksmith. When the divorce was finalized he told me I just needed to print out the judges opinion - 6 pages airing every detail of my personal life - and use that to change my name. The woman at the social security office literally laughed and asked if it was my lawyers first divorce. But none of that is the worst part. The worst part is that he breached attorney client privilege to negotiate on my behalf with my ex-mother in law when I specifically told him that she was not a lawyer and not to be involved. Instead, he charged me to negotiate with her. When I told him not to, he said okay, then did it again charged me more. When I complained about this ethical violation, the firm agreed to refund the money for this violation of my privacy. That was in May. As the mail also flummoxes them, I just received the check today, in March. It is for the wrong amount and made out to the wrong name. Oh well!

Since day one, she guided me through a legal process that I never imagined going through and had no knowledge of the process or outcome. We communicated weekly and I knew she was making every effort in areas even beyond the norm. Once presented to the judge, she did not miss a point and displayed genuine support and care of my case. Her message and delivery was received to end the worst year of my life and to take next steps to move forward She continues to be available if I need her. I will forever be grateful.

I've worked with Evan Bruno before. He did me good. No complaints. This time, I was pretty sure I was cooked. To the point I had even broke the news to my family that I would probably have to go away for a while. I don't wanna make this about me not going to jail bc everything is relative...you know what you did or didn't do... That being said, this is about his conduct in total: professional and super informative. Upon first meeting and hearing how much he was going to charge, I may have threw up in my mouth a little but like they say; you get what you pay for. After doing more research and a consultation, I paid. He told me I was in good hands but I was still super apprehensive. He did not lie. From the little things like a day or two before every court date, getting an email letting me know where to be/what time/what was going to happen, to being presented all options, and being given his professional opinion...and personal if I'd ask. Showed up on time and ready to each and every court date. The one time he had to sub, he informed me prior. There were no surprises. I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with the outcome of my case and his conduct. I hope I never need this man again I promise but if ever you find yourself in a situation and need a lawyer you can count on, he did not disappoint...pay the man!
