They had a horror movie playing in the background, bottles of fizz and had all gone to the effort of putting on face paint and getting into the spirit. Lovely girls, really chatty and listen to exactly what you want. I went for my usual Sombre/Balayage colour with a cut and blow dry. It only cost £65, which is very reasonable. They even told me where I could buy the vegan products they used on my hair (Sally's). My hair is in great condition, even after having colour done. Can't wait for my next appointment with these gals!

The one thing I wasn't keen on was that the sinks seemed a bit low when I was getting my hair washed - I think I remember one time I was in a place where the sinks could be adjusted for height, but I only go to the hairdressers two or three times a year so I can cope with that.

The price is the same no matter who you see, £24 for a ladies cut (£49 for cut & colour), which is a great price for the location. I've paid almost twice as much for a worse haircut! The salon is not super fancy like some places in the west end but there was no waiting, no faffing, no excessive blethering and no hard sell at all of products or extras. Obviously sensing my clueless-ness, she talked me through the different features - diameter, heat settings, titanium or ceramic, and what sort of results they would give me. I feel much more informed and, once I've checked with my hairdresser, I'll be back to buy the right one for me.
