I do not suggest this company to anyone! I recently had a home inspection completed by this company. I addressed my clear concerns of a gas smell to the inspector Javier and was under the impression that he understood. He stated that he tested the area with his "sniffer" and it passed. While I was still concerned of the smell and know the smell of gas he told me I had to pay for a reinspection and I did not agree. So he suggested that I call the company which I did. After expressing my concerns to the company they advised me to contact my local gas company. The gas company came out 3 days later and found a leak in the same area I told the inspector I smelled it. I called the company to tell them and customer service said all she could to avoid the blame to be the company. She stated that checking for gas leaks is not the standard of practice. They did nothing to address my frustration for their failure of accurate service. I strongly do not suggest ANYONE to even hire this company to inspect not even a Birdhouse!!! Raeann Baggott; chosen based on prior "good reviews", however, gave us the MOST TERRIBLE experience. There were massive oversights and very, very inaccurate matters noted. For example: noted that a window was "inoperable" - it wasn't, she just didn't see that the window had an upper AND lower lock. Another example, noted a "crack" in the glass of fireplace - there was no "crack", it was a line across the mirror that shows through the glass from the BACK OF THE FIREPLACE - a matter of poor perspective - no crack whatsoever! Another example, she noted our kitchen sink disposal as "inoperable" because she couldn't find the disposal button that's RIGHT ON THE dummy drawer at waist level! The disposal is great, we use it every day! She also said the inner chimney liner needed replaced in all 3 of our chimneys; THREE fireplace specialists told us otherwise, and said it was ridiculous that it was on the inspection report. This woman also has no business inspecting anything electrical - major issues with her inspection report along these lines as well! I genuinely could go on and on. I advise you, the mistakes made by this inspector cost us GREATLY. I cannot stress that enough!!! Steer clear, and do NOT trust the other reviews. In the process of getting my windows replaced through a grant in FL that requires a wind mitigation upon completion. I called and scheduled one yesterday after talking to an employee who was confident I needed an independent inspection and was familiar with the program. Today I found out the state does their own inspection and I called to cancel. They refused and charged me over $105 dollars after they purposely misled me! 100% do not recommend! Unreliable company. When I hired Webb Property Inspections. I was told the date my radon water test results would be available for review, was before the end of my due diligence period. I followed up several days after the inspection and was told my results may not be back until over a week after my due diligence period was over, making the results useless for renegotiating. With only a few days remaining in my due diligence period I was forced to hire a second company that could guarantee radon water test results before the end of the due diligence period. The water results from Webb ended up being completed on time, but not before I was forced to spend more money hiring a second company to perform the radon water test. They refused to take any responsibility and said they upheld their end of the bargain because results were delivered on time. If you need an inspection, and you need your results by a certain date, a company like Webb telling you that suddenly they may not be able to deliver is just as bad as not delivering at all. My name is Rosemarie. I live in East Conemaugh.I had put in a fantastic review for this young girl, Megan, that came in from webb inspection and was recommended, company wise, through my realtor ,Unfortunately, she had begged me to give her a five-star review prior to her completion. She refuse to give me any important information that I requested. That includes, mold, things that are falling apart, roof, siding, electrical, and stability of the property. Those are just a few. I'm furious. When it came to electrical, she stated you have to hire an electrician. She didn't get to check all the electrical boxes, because my realtor Selena muñoz, decided to call the seller of the property. She told her how the inspector was going to be here on a certain day. Unfortunately, due to her unfair care, the owner decided to move the plumbers from two days prior, to the same day my inspector was coming. Knowing that, my inspector still came, did a partial job and never came back. When I asked her about electricity, she told me to hire an electrician. When I asked her about the plumbing, she told me to hire a plumber. When I asked her about the roof, she told me to hire a roofer or contractor. When I asked her if there was mold or any type of asbestos in the house, she told me to hire someone that was good for that or she could have me pay her another $400 to come out to do the job. She was supposed to have come back out to check the other two electrical boxes that were unable to be checked due to a tiny touch of water on the floor again due to my realtor being on the seller side and not mine. That was all due to affiliation. The fact that she referred me to this company, and told me that none of her clients have been upset with this company, leaves me to believe, that there are affiliations there too. I'm very upset. Buyer beware! One more thing, they give you a concierge, through the company, which is not helped me either. Make sure, when you buy your property, you receive prior to that your home binder at least two weeks prior. Do not let Realtors or any type of inspectors or even appraisers at that, because my realtor knew that the person I bought this house from, knew the appraiser, so she got what she wanted price wise. Please please check all of your paperwork. Do not end up like I did. I ended up putting my family into the situation, in which I cannot even begin to burrow myself out of. Be very aware of what you are purchasing and make sure that your realtor is on your side. If she is not and she is affiliated or he is affiliated with that person that is selling the house, step out don't even buy the property. Do your research if you have the time. My husband and I got taken advantage of because we did not have time. Do not fall into a trap like we did. If there is an attorney out there I will love to speak with you.
