I never thought about his company for replacement windows but was familiar with his work as he built a beautiful deck for my next door neighbor. So I didn't have any reservations about hiring him. He was quick to respond to what I needed done and very professional from start to finish with replacing the windows on one side of my house. I will definitely hire him again for replacing the remainder of my windows when money allows. I love my new windows and I also love how stress free Don was able to make the entire process go considering it was an unplanned expense and I am on a fixed income. Don is a neighbor of mine but I never knew him before I hired him. I went to Home Depot for security doors and was assigned to Mr. Weber, the door installer. On the day of the install, he had a cancellation and asked if he could come earlier. There was delivery confusion on Home Depot's end as Mr. Weber had one door and Home Depot had the other door. He installed the first door and waited 90 mins for the second door to be delivered as promised by Home Depot. Eventually, he had to leave to go to another job. Three or four hours later, the second door was delivered to my home. My wife called Mr. Weber to tell him the second door just arrived--he had just pulled into his driveway as his workday was over. He got back in his car, drove across Queens and installed the second door. On top of all of that, he sealed space between the brick wall and the second door (no charge) AND cleaned up the mess, carting away the old doors/boxes, old screens etc. If I had a second house needing the same service, I would not hesitate to call Mr. Weber. read more

I feel like I won the lottery with Weber Carpentry--I bought a very fancy, custom (first high quality home purchase!) interior wooden French door from Home Depot, and asked for their installer to take care of it putting it in. Don Weber showed up, did a careful job with his estimate and explained that there might be some issues with the installation due to the kitchen wall tiles on one side of the wall. He and his team then did a fantastic job with the install. They were on time, in and out, no harm to the kitchen tiles, cleaned up when they left--really, very impressed with their professionalism (and the gorgeous door)! Indeed, so impressed that when I needed a small piece of emergency work in another part of the house (don't ask) I knew just who I could call--and though it was small, Don again came and took care of it quickly and as promised. They are literally a life savor. My bathroom looks amazing. They were very punctual when they said a time they were here. Saturday came and they were at my front door to work. Amazing people and their work speaks for itself. They are super sweet and even mopped my floors when they were done. My bathroom looks amazing and I couldn't have asked for better people to do it. Weber Carpentry helped to totally resurface our existing (30 + year old) deck in Schenectady, NY. While we could have been quoted for a total replacement, Don was honest and suggested we could just resurface and add a few additional support beams to the existing deck, saving us time and money. His communication was prompt and all material delivery was coordinated by him, arriving well before the start date. It had not been made clear to us that going the replacement route would not have as clean as a finish as we would have expected. However, once we discussed with Don after the work was done, he clearly explained why that was and even spent a little extra time doing some clean up. Don of Weber Carpentry did a great job from start to finish. I purchased a new storm door from Home Depot and they sent Don to take the measurements prior to my purchasing it. Since my front entry door is an oversized door, he gave me some options to consider regarding the height of the new storm door. He explained how he could add a piece of wood to the upper frame if I bought a slightly shorter door and that it would fit and look just fine. And that's what I did, and he was right.
