After picking up my dress to begin alterations we noticed a stain that was not there when the dress was bought. The dress was bought in LaCrosse but when the Eau Claire location was closer they took the dress in and cleaned it better than it looked before. They gave me a handwritten apology for the inconvenience and thanking for trusting them to make it right and be a part of my day. They even went so far as to give a gas card for our extra drive time. Truly a bridal shop here for their clientele and to make brides feel special and beautiful.

Men- If you plan on getting a tux from them, make sure to stay on their butts. We were told we…read morewould get a price for the tuxes at least a month out to prepare for the cost, and we didn't. We were notified that our tuxes were ready a week prior, which is great, but there was no mention of the cost. MAKE SURE you plan for their resizing. I know this is common, but we had 9 people get their suits/tuxes from them, and they ALL needed to be tailored: either wrong shoes, wrong jackets, completely wrong size pants and shirts, a mix of everything, and one of my groomsmen was big, so they resized him and just sent him with two shirts to the wedding because they were still uncertain of his size. They even looked at us and asked if we got it fitted there because of how screwed up they were (which we did). We also informed them that we did not want pocket squares and/or cufflinks, which we ended up paying for because the groomsman didn't know what they were supposed to have or not. Now, on to the cost: it says multiple places that, all said and done, the tux rental would be $250 at the high end. Asking everyone what they paid at the end, there was a variety of answers, which seems odd to me. Everything from 295-320 was paid for the suits/tuxes. Also, make sure you look at their hours, which are wonky. Someone better be able to take them back on a Tuesday if you have a Saturday wedding, because they aren't open Sundays or Saturdays.

She's a delight to work with and a pro at finding creative ways to make garments fit. If you have designer clothes or favorite pieces you cherish, take them to Deb and thank me later. No one attempted to help us--no one pulled dresses, offered suggestions, or helped carry anything to the fitting room. The associate working would walk away and then randomly pop back into the dressing room area, which made the whole experience feel awkward and unwelcoming. I really wanted my mother-in-law to feel special while picking out her dress for such an important occasion, but instead we left feeling judged and uncomfortable. No one asked us questions, tried to get to know us, or made the experience feel personal at all. What was especially surprising was that the shop was completely empty that day, yet we still received very little service. The prices seemed average and reasonable, and money wasn't a concern for us since this is a once-in-a-lifetime event. The selection wasn't huge, but for a small town in Wisconsin it was decent and we did find a few dresses to try on. Overall, though, the experience left a sour taste. If you're looking for a warm, special experience while shopping for wedding attire, I would personally skip this place. I'm sure others may have had good experiences, but unfortunately ours was not one of them.

We ordered it and much to our surprise it arrived the following Friday! Upon trying the dress on we discovered it had a small tear in in. I immediately called the store and they made the return process so easy for us. I dropped off the dress at UPS on Thursday and had the replacement dress the following Friday. They also called to be sure the dress had arrived. I was so impressed with this store and won't hesitate to go back next year to find another dress.
