Geoff was our officiant and it felt like we had known him for years with how wonderful of a job he did. Kim was our photographer and nailed it. We had originally said no to photos but at the last minute decided to add them and we are definitely happy we did. Kim and Geoff are amazing at what they do and explained everything so clearly so nothing was left to guess about. As life would have it, we ended up not downloading our pictures before the electronic link expired but Kim was so wonderful and sent them to us again. My mom recently got engaged and was excited to begin wedding dress shopping. Like many first-time brides, she wasn't sure what styles would suit her body type and was hoping for guidance. I recommended this boutique because of its excellent reviews and thought it would be a great place to start. Instead, she was met with a cold and dismissive attitude. Before she could browse or try on a single dress, she was told she shouldn't be shopping because she hadn't secured a venue yet. She was lectured about needing to do more research and told to go online, schedule an appointment, and pay a fee before returning. No one offered to explain the process, answer questions, or provide any guidance. She was simply turned away. What makes this so disappointing is how easily it could have been handled differently. A simple explanation of their policies, a friendly conversation, or a little patience would have gone a long way. Instead, my mom left feeling embarrassed, unwelcome, and judged during what should have been an exciting milestone. She wasn't even allowed to casually look around the store or get a sense of the styles they carried before being dismissed. As a POC, it's difficult not to question whether bias played a role in how quickly she was dismissed, especially given the complete lack of warmth and empathy she received. Wedding dress shopping should be an inclusive and supportive experience, especially for brides just starting their journey. I would not recommend this boutique to any bride looking for kindness, guidance, or a welcoming first dress-shopping experience. I will not be returning, and I certainly won't be recommending it to my girlies or future brides. Do better.

Choosing Anthony to officiate our wedding was the best choice we could have made. He was perfectly encouraging and supportive while we put together our non-traditional wedding ceremony; offering help or giving a suggestion when asked but not trying to shape our ceremony into anything other than a perfect reflection of our relationship and commitment to each other. He seems comfortable in every situation, so when attending our three-day wedding festivities he fit in well and was able to make genuine connections with our family and friends. That sincerity was something we were very impressed with and grateful for. He's a wonderful orator with a blend of warmth and humor that was right on pitch for our ceremony. He handled a minor issue during the ceremony (caused by vague directions from the photographer/venue) like a pro and carried on with the ceremony without skipping a beat. We opted for the wedding party selfie and it's one of my favorite pictures from the wedding! Anthony really helped make our wedding day the treasured memory it is. And it doesn't hurt that he's a handsome addition to the wedding pictures! ;)

She was very understanding of what I wanted since this was a nontraditional quinceanera. However, I wanted some tradition involved, and she did that perfectly!! Mike truly makes your ceremony all about you and will customize it to meet your specific needs. We went through a few rounds of edits to tweak the ceremony content; collaborating with him was a fun process. When you work with Mike, his base fee includes an in-person meeting before the wedding to get to know you better as a couple, answer any questions you may have, etc. It also includes his participation in the rehearsal (and of course, the actual wedding!) - in our case, not only did he participate in the rehearsal but he played a key role in getting folks organized and making suggestions on how/where to stand, the processional, etc. This was a huge help because we ended up arriving about 15 minutes late to the rehearsal, while he was about 20 minutes early, so time was of the essence and he wasn't the least bit put off by the slight delay on our end. This guy really knows his stuff! Mike officiates weddings all over California, so don't let the fact that he's based in Groveland (in the Yosemite-ish area) stop you. He's used to driving quite a distance to officiate weddings - making the trek to Los Gatos seemed like no big thing to him. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and a super nice guy, to boot. I initially expected the reception to be the source of pretty much all of my favorite wedding day memories, but because of Mike, the ceremony was one of my absolute favorite parts of the day. He made it so very special for both of us, and we were truly fortunate to work with an officiant as wonderful as Mike.

So due to her error I can not get it until she fixes it! She fell ill about two weeks after my ceremony which I understood but she refuses to contact me in this matter. She is holding me up from getting medical insurance through my husbands work. I've even paid the fee to fix the error & had the clerk mail it to her house for convenience. Still nothing! She refuses to contact me!! I've sent emails, text messages, called & left voicemail, NOTHING! Very unprofessional!!! She was a very sweet woman her price was too good to be true (obviously) she threw in her personalized wedding vows. I will admit her vows she wrote for us were beautiful! I feel like it's been a month and a half since I got married and for her to not reach out and even send a simple text to communicate what is going on on her end is just plain unacceptable. I feel like cause I had a small intimate home ceremony I just don't fall high on her priority list. I recommend choosing someone else to officiate your wedding. Unless you're ok with flakey and unprofessional!
