Throughout the year and half we worked with her, she patiently guided us through a postponed wedding date, coordination between the many vendors we couldn't always meet in person, and a backup plan when weather disrupted our original plans. The wedding was held in the recreation hall of a local park. She somehow took a rec hall and turned it into a storybook ballroom. It took my breath away. It was an incredible transformation. I didn't recognize it when I walked in the day of the wedding. It did not look like the same place. Nora has a great deal of artistic talent. She explained to me how details are important in a wedding. It is not just one thing that is important in and of itself; it's how everything fits together that creates the "magic". Things like choosing the right colors, textures and lighting and coordinating them to create the look you want to achieve. The florist that she works with, Gerardo also did a sensational job. I love flowers and think really you can't have too many of them at a wedding. Both of them did much more than I ever thought possible in putting this aspect of the wedding together. They were also very creative in using the flowers in multiple ways such as putting bouquets and columns used during the ceremony at the bridal table afterwards. Nora has a great many contacts she is able to draw on for vendors for all of the different services we needed for the wedding. Somehow she is able to interact and oversee all of these vendors to bring things together. I admit I would not have been so patient in dealing with all of this. She didn't give up on getting what we needed. Unlike other coordinators Nora posts the fees for her services on her website. You can choose the level of service that you want. If you want her to do it all, she can. If you just want help the day of the event, that may be possible too. With some vendors she can assist you with discounts which can help pay for her services. Of course weddings are not inexpensive events. The more you want, in my case flowers, the more it will cost you! If you are only looking for a coordinator who will charge the lowest possible price, there are other planners you can contact. But if you are looking for high quality service from a professional you can trust, you will not be disappointed with Nora. You do not have to have an unlimited budget, we surely didn't. She will listen to your requests, make suggestions, give advice and even tell you when something just honestly is not the best or will not work with your budget or with what you want to create for your wedding. In all weddings there are unexpected events, with us some of the things were not having a podium for the pastor at the last minute and rehearsal problems. She dealt with these and other things with grace and patience. I highly recommend her. She is a rare professional someone who keeps her word and puts the needs of her clients upper most. She understands that this is not just party it is one of the most important events in someone's life and treats it as if it were her own.

Not a lot of people take the time to know personally their wedding officiant; but after a phone call, and a visit to her office; I was convinced she was the right one for us. She was on time to the wedding; effectuated the ceremony with the speech already arranged at her office, and left after the ceremony was over. Two weeks later, we got our Marriage Certificate on the mail. The payment is in advance, which is very convenience because is a less thing to think about in a such busy day. Iris left a very nice frame for our certificate, with a beautiful note of congratulations. I strongly recommended her as a trustfully and professional notary, which will make a perfect ceremony for your special day.

We originally contacted Eli about the florals, after mind-numbingly searching high and low for a florist in our price range, and one who would work with us, and it was such a breath of fresh air to work with her on everything from my bouquet to the floral arch and the decor. She helped me turn my vision into reality and never told me no to any of my ideas. Even after it took MONTHS to finally sign on the dotted line after back and forth, Eli made sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Because of this, we also hired her as our day-of wedding planner, but she did far more than just day-of. She made sure everything was ready, from the tables to the bridal party lining up, even helping us figure out how to get that "dip" for after the ceremony during our rehearsal. Lastly, she even worked with my mother-in-law to secure table florals for the rehearsal dinner. She set everything up, broke everything down, and even allowed us to re-use the florals for the next day in other areas of the venue. She is an absolute DREAM and the whole package. She did give us a refund for them, but when I use her for my younger daughter's wedding (and I will), I'll either insist that these items be held together with wire, or I'll just buy those elsewhere. Otherwise, we got many compliments on the flowers, and she also added extra touches we hadn't paid for, such as little bud vases on the tables for the cocktail hour.
