I don't think I heard even one song on my dinner list, and 75% of the dancing songs were also not what we wanted. I specified that we didn't want country music or any cheesy line dances. He played the cotton eye joe song, and 2 or 3 other line dances and I had people continually going up and asking him to play songs from our list all night long. Even though we told him the reception ended at 11:00, he insisted that we never discussed this and that we would owe him for an extra 30 minutes. He asked one of my bridesmaids to pay for the additional time. When we first met with him he was trying to beat the price of another DJ and insisted that if we needed more uplighting he would provide it free of charge. When we asked about it later he wanted to charge us for it, and also asked my bridesmaid to pay for the 3 additional uplights. She told him that considering he didn't play from my list and had a "booty contest" at my wedding that maybe he should let it go and so he went and got my fiancé and had him pay him for the extra fees. I really liked him when we met; however he was extremely misleading, and seemed to only say what we wanted to hear to get our business and then did things how he wanted to do them on the day of. Very disappointing experience. Definitely would not recommend. After posting a fair and honest review, my husband was harassed by Rob as we were trying to prepare for our honeymoon. When we returned I had received a nasty email from Rob taking absolutely no responsibility for any of the aspects of his service that we were unhappy with. Booking this DJ was the biggest mistake at my wedding....Beware.

As the name infers, soiree, a fashionable classy party so is the establishment. There is 9,000 sq ft of space for events, conferences, banquets, ceremonies, and get this a Carnival! Revised hours since this posting: 7 am - 3 pm Soiree Café is located towards the back of the building. There is parking along the side and back of the complex. The space can accommodate a lot of people. Elegant round tables and dashing white sofas create a very intimate and classy atmosphere for breakfast and lunch. A very sophisticated LED illuminated bar beckons to one end. The menu has a little for everyone with a slight nod towards southern soul food. Traditional breakfast items of sausage, biscuits, French toast, eggs, bacon, and muffin, share space with Southern delights like chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits. Lunch items of wings, tenders, nachos, mac and cheese coupled with different salad combinations, wraps and sandwiches, together with fully loaded BBQ and meat loaf rounds out the menu. There is a full liquor bar, if you want to have an adult beverage for lunch. They offer take out and delivery within 3 miles. This entire menu is served from 9am to 3pm. Passion Fruit Smoothie - one of the bar specialties, whipped up fresh. Traces of passion fruit flavors danced on the palate. Soup of the Day - on this occasion it was corn. Soft vegetables in a broth. Light and salty. Chicken and Waffles with Hash and Hard Fried Egg - Egg was done as ordered; chicken was crunchy with slight flavorings; waffle was dry; hash was moist and crunchy. This entire establishment is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. It is good to know that there is such a place in the middle of all the negative perceptions of Pine Hills. With Soiree Café stepping up the atmosphere to a more upscale environment, here is hoping other businesses follow suit. This is a great option for business lunches in a nice atmosphere.

I cannot begin to tell you how incredible Landon and Stephanie are. They make photoshoots feel fun and effortless, and they treat you like family. They both have these amazing, outgoing personalities that can get even the most shy people (like myself) to open up and feel comfortable on camera. It all started with booking them for our engagement shoot and wedding before we even had a venue. They were the only vendor I was instantly sold on. Our engagement shoot at Lake Louisa State Park was amazing. They came prepared. It was raining in the beginning of our shoot (goodbye, professionally curled hair) and they had a clear umbrella so we could still get some photos in while the weather cleared. They were down for our smoke bomb ideas for our images and executed those flawlessly. Stephanie went full on coordinator with our wedding and was in my opinion more prepared than my planner. She contacted me early ready with a timeline to review. They arrived early, took incredible photos and were such a delight. I could go into way more detail about the wedding, but this review is already going to be a novel. We keep coming back. We have since had an anniversary shoot and a maternity shoot the year after that. I can't wait to save up for one this year with the new little one. Mind you, I've only talked about the actual session experience so far. They are very much natural light photographers. Not to say they can't take quality indoor photographs, but their work truly shines when they can use natural sunlight. Their images have a beautiful airy feel that is modeled off film photography. There is a special glow about their photos that is swoon-worthy. Not only are the images insanely beautiful, but they get them to you faster than any other photographer we have worked with. They have literally the highest level of customer service I have ever seen. How about at my wedding before we walk in to the reception, no one can figure out how to bustle my gown. My wedding planner is nowhere to be found, and Stephanie takes it upon herself to handle it and right on time! Landon even was able to walk my mom and bridesmaid through lacing up my dress. They're not just photographers. They are overall wedding experts. I sincerely mean it when I say these two are some of the sweetest, most genuine people I've ever met. I've told them more than once that they are our photographers for life. You can NOT go wrong with hiring Landon and Stephanie for your photography needs.
