Tucked away in this small borough is this wonderful little laundromat. It has some parking on the side of and in the back of the business. The thing that struck me was how very clean and well kept the inside was. The countertops where you fold your clothes were spotless and the machines are all new and are easy to operate. Everything is tap-to-pay which is great. The only machine that even takes coins in the machine that dispenses powdered soap (And WHO still uses that shit anyway?). The space is one, long breezeway with a door at either end. It is located two doors away from a coffee house and breakfast/lunch joint. So, if you want a latte or something while you are washing you dirty ass underwear, your good. The ONLY nit-pick I have is, my reception dropped down to one bar if that while I was there. If your in the area and you've got laundry to do, you cant do much better. read more

We started using this laundromat and I can't recommend it highly enough. Everything is so clean, they have high capacity dryers which is perfect for PNW folks and partners (sleeping bags and quilts don't fit in regular ones for us!), and it's perfectly located to grab a bite, etc while you wait. Was looking for a laundromat to wash my hiking shoes which were super dirty from a muddy trail. Didn't want to wash them in my home washer. There are surprisingly few laundromats in Seattle. The one closest to me was closed so this was my second choice and a bit out of the way. But I'm glad I ended up coming here. They have what look to be high quality/industrial new Electrolux machines. Easy to pay with Apple/Android Pay/credit card at each machine. There are helpful easy to read suggestions. Clean inside. A few really comfortable stools. Couple of magazines to browse while waiting. Free parking on the side and back of building. It's also helpful that there is a Rite Aid and cafe's/restaurants nearby. My shoes ended up coming out clean enough to wear again. read more

We were unable to use our laundry for a couple of weeks, otherwise it was never on our radar to go to a laundromat. So, as chance had it, I turned up with my car full of laundry. The instructions were easy, I loaded up FIVE machines. Time passed quicker than expected because commercial machines are fast and the same with the drying cycle. I saw there were a few customers only using the laundromat because they had large items (like a duvet). Others took advantage of the larger machines for washing pillows. It did not escape me that those duvets and pillows cleaned well and dried up beautifully. My loads had no issues. Great place! read more

Great spot to get your laundry done. The laundromat is clean and well mainatined. There is plenty of parking on the side and in the back of the building. There are single, double and triple loader washers available and plenty of dryers. It was fairly busy on a Saturday afternoon, however the other patrons were fairly conscientious about getting their clothes out of the washers and dryers promptly so no one had to wait very long. There's a cafe next door which is a nice place to grab a drink and a snack while your clothes do their thing. It was worth driving out of my way to come to this spot. Wow! First of all it was cheaper to rent a car to come here than an Uber each way. Probably one of the nicest cleanest laundromats I been to. I mean their washing machines are Electrolux! So they will probably wash better than your washers at home. Super easy to use machines and cute space. Couple places to eat and have some coffee while you wait. My laundry often comes out dirtier than when I put it in. Oil stains appear that are difficult to remove, not sure if they come from the wash or dry machines. The rotten egg/gas/ sewage smell seems to be coming from the dryer machines because some items that didn't need a wash and were smelling fine came out smelling horrible. read more

Wedgwood Laundromat is a small neighborhood laundromat. It's been a lifesaver while we wait for our apartment to send maintenance over to fix our washer. I love that you can purchase a card and add money using your CC, as I don't recall the last time I've had change laying around the house. However, if you need detergent, the machine here only takes change. Luckily, there is a Rite Aid down the street where you can purchase a small bottle of detergent as an option. read more

One of the cleanest laundromat I've seen in the area. It's a small space but offers small, medium and large washers and dryers. I'm mostly impressed that there's an option for paying with a card instead of quarters. I hate having to go to the bank and getting quarters, when you can just easily swipe the card and get the washer and dryers working. At first, I was confused on how to use the washers and dryer machines. They were not the typical ones you see at other laundromats. But there are instructions on the wall and on their website to get you started. Offers parking, small space to sit and wait, another space to fold and next door is a coffee shop. So you can grab a coffee while waiting for your wash cycle to be done. read more

This is really all you could possibly ask for in a laundromat. It's cozy, but full of machines including 2 XXL ones that could probably wash an entire couch. Their machines all accept credit cards, and there is a change machine on the wall if you want to go coin-style. The machines all have pretty well explained instructions on where to put the detergent, how to pay for an extra wash or rinse cycle, etc. You do want to double check which dryer you are using and make sure you're not about to pump quarters into the wrong machine. And while the place does not have any attendants on hand, there is a phone number in case you are having any issues with a machine. Everything worked perfectly during my visit though. The only possibly criticism I could see somebody having is the size of the place. It's pretty narrow, and there aren't any power outlets for charging your phone. HOWEVER. Just two doors down from the Laundromat is a lovely little coffee shop with comfy chairs, power outlets, wifi, pastries, and other yummy things. So you can just buy a cup of coffee next door and hang out there while you wait for your wash or dry cycle to finish. Just be sure to set a timer on your phone, so you wont be that guy who occupies the washer long after your load has finished. read more

Traveling in Seattle, my laundry was going way quicker than I had expected. I have never done laundry at a laundromat before. Highly recommend this place. The fact that it takes cards really make this experience stress free. The only caveat is that you will need to ensure you bring your own soap, bleach, fabric softener. If you don't have one, they are available at the laundromat but you will need quarters to get it. A nice cafe right next door where you can sit and relax while you wait. This is probably the best and cleanest laundromat I've ever used. It's tucked away which is nice, and I think keeps the crowds down. Machines are all fairly easy to use and wait for it, they all take debit or credit cards!!! No more begging for quarters or dollars to break down. The laundromat is clean and nice and the machines work well, but the female owner is the reason for my poor review. She is unpleasant and makes comments about patrons that are ... unprofessional at best. It's been a repeat issue, but this weekend she was complaining that some rude person put laundry that was "too dirty" in a washer. Dirty laundry... at a laundromat... It's a nice new renovation . Clean. New machines that accept cards or coins. Kinda pricey compared to the old place and laundromats in the area. No seating. The $3.50 for the small machine is a dollar more than before and they are tiny. The medium machines are $4.75 which are the size of the previous machines ( load size) for over $2 more than the old place . Dryers are .25 for 4 min, over 2 minuets less time than the old place and places in the area. New place , clean but $$$ read more

Was in need of a laundromat for a few weeks while our laundry room was being updated. Was very happy I found this place. They are open far earlier than others in the area which I appreciated. Everything was also very clean with ample space to sit and wait. The coffee shop next door is a nice bonus. Parking can be a bit tight right at the laundromat but plenty in the general area. Super clean machines after the recent remodel (October 2017). I've been looking for a laundromat in the Wedgewood area and the closest prior to this place reopening was U district. I'm very impressed by the overall cleanliness of the laundromat. The prices here are pretty good. A big load can wash for about $7.50 washing and drying. Pretty quiet place. Usually it's not too full. There are two carts and a stepping stool. You can also get a "Spyder" card so you don't have to bring change with you all the time. It's next door to a cafe so pretty decent location and not too far from other stores read more

Very nice and sparkling clean! There is no bathroom....however you can use the bathroom at the coffee place next door. I put in my clothes, and went to the coffee shop for a mocha and a sandwich. Very nice. I couldn't get either my Visa or MasterCard to work (and I had used both all day prior to arriving here), so I got quarters from their machine. read more

This place is much much better!! I haven't been in for about a year as I wash my clothes at my house but the big items do much better in these hi end machines!! The washing machines are the most powerful you can get so it washes and removes dirt and water with much more force than what I've ever used!! That's why your clothes are dry in half the time. Plus the washing machines look like they're normal size but you can fit double what you can in the old machines. These new machines removed soil the old system never could and with the cheaper drying the price it just about the same not to mention I'm out of there in half the time. The place is always clean and crime free!! There's a wonderful coffee shop and great hair salon next door with a Rite-Aid and QFC right across the street!! I would like to thank the new owners for such a wonderful upgrade the place looks way better and the machines accept debit cards and are 20 times better than anything I've ever used away from my own. Machines take credit cards, there are several sizes of washers, soap cost is reasonable, and it is very clean. Will come back again.
