From the…read moreresponsiveness of the director, Ileana, to the chef in the kitchen (making the food my son loves to eat), to the floater teachers, teachers and lead teachers, they are all SUCH WONDERFUL, HAPPY TO BE THERE, HARDWORKING PEOPLE. Sending your child off to daycare is hard to do, but when you know that the baby is happy, cared for, treated well and loved, is so worth it. When my son started at 6 months, he wouldn't eat his bottle like a normal baby... He had to be laying on a pillow getting sung to, or held a weird way to eat - and these teachers would do everything they could to get him to drink those bottles! Ms. Yuri in the Kiwi room really had a special knack with him, helping him to finish off his bottles. They help with age appropriate transitions and weening, as well as introducing solid foods. Everyone works at the pace you want to go. I just think this place is the best, and I will be sad to leave when my son transitions to the toddler facility. :(

I feel good knowing he spends his days in excellent hands where he is able to learn and grow. We also appreciate how Tiny Giants has cultivated his love of music, as music day with Mr. Ray is now the highlight of his week! Overall we love being part of the TG community and look forward to continuing our journey at the Uptown location next year.

Our son has been going to Kids Future for the past year and we cannot say enough good things about…read morethe care he is receiving. A few highlights about why we love KFDC: 1. They keep the kids on a great schedule. Kids thrive on routine and the center has a great schedule that includes free play time, circle time, and a good amount of time for lunch and naps. 2. We've seen leaps and bounds development in our 3 year old during his time at KFDC. He can write his own name already and is even starting to read some short words and I think this is because of the learning repetition that they have in their daily circle time. 3. They regularly get the kids outside. There is a park nearby that they utilize regularly but will even get the kids out for a neighborhood walk if the playground isn't an option on a given day. 4. They use Procare to provide regular updates on your child's day. They send a lot of pictures and information so I feel updated on what my child does and I can also talk to him about his day when he comes home. 5. STAFF! We have seen minimal turnover during our time at the center and this is super important for kids at this age. We've been at other centers with higher turnover and seen it have a negative impact on our kids. Our son truly LOVES his teachers ad KFDC and it is nice to know they have been there awhile. 6. Price. They are an outlier in terms of affordable daycare in the area. For the level of care their provide their pricing is very reasonable. If you choose Kids Future as a care option for your child you are making a solid investment in your child's care and education.

As good as a daycare gets! As first-time parents, we weren't confident about transitioning our…read morechild for things like binky weaning, the crib, and potty training. Kids Future has demonstrated her readiness by leading the charge in some areas and advising in others. When our toddler started talking, she kept saying "agga," and we couldn't figure out what it meant. One night, she was pointing and saying "agga, agga, agga..." then she said, "wa'dur." She was using Spanish! Agua! Whenever we didn't recognize a word she was saying we would start looking up what we thought she may have meant in Spanish. Sure enough, she was building a bilingual vocabulary that we could practice at home! We think we've heard some Chinese, too, but it's been harder for us to pick those words out. They post regular updates to the Procare app. This is the only area of grievance I have, and it's more of an issue with the app than the daycare. The app separates notification options by media type, so you can be notified for pictures/videos, diaper updates, feeding updates, etc. They tend to take a lot of video throughout the day and post updates all at once, which is nice, but if I leave that notification on, it overwhelms my notification drop-down, and many of the videos just don't play, so it's a mild annoyance. I would prefer to leave the notification on, and only get picture updates. Shout-out to Ms. Yazmine who takes the most incredible photos, and is just generally awesome. Ms. Erika has been a guiding force for our LO's development, and helps us grow to the next level. The person who stands out the most, though, is Ms. Kathy. She is the *soul* of Kids Future. She is gentle, kind, and motivates our kiddo without using force. Our child's emotional development has ABSOLUTELY been influenced by the safe, calming environment Ms. Kathy provides. When we model her techniques at home, our child is much more cooperative and happy! We have grown so much as parents and as people because of the guidance and modeling we get from Kids Future. For the parent who seeks to grow for their child and give them the best start in life, this is the place you've been looking for!

In honor of Teacher Appreciation week, it's high time I posted this overdue review of Open Space…read moreEarly Learning Center. My son has been attending since October 2021 and the team at OS has been nothing short of stellar. It was important to me to find an environment where he would be safe, they would truly get to know and care about him, as well as nurture his growth and development. It's a tall order but this is my baby so I will only leave him in high quality and capable care. Registration with Ms. Kanwal was seamless and we had a great virtual Q&A with Ms. Jaimie. The center itself is bright and cheery. The classrooms are setup with a child at play in mind. Procedures are digitized where possible including check-in and checkout and they use Brightwheel as their parent interaction app. We get daily updates and photos on the app and can see the thoughtful learning experiences that are being provided. On the subject of Covid19 protocols, yes, they are "strict." My son has been sent home with a runny nose not to return without a pediatrician's letter clearing him to return. I for one appreciate this type of diligence, as they are catching cases early. There have been multiple quarantine closures and sure, they are challenging but it's all to keep our little ones safe and healthy. I have no doubt in my mind that all the protocols enacted are in the best interest of the children and staff. They go beyond what's required and that puts my mind at ease in terms of providing a safe environment. Staff are very responsive and my son's teachers are warm and amazing. They really take the time to listen to him. When he woke up from a nap, one teacher asked him what he dreamed about and he told her "Zoolights" and she told me about their conversation when I picked him up. It warmed my heart as we'd been talking about dreaming about Zoolights a few weeks beforehand so I knew he was talking to her about it. That right there is quality. However, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that there is a degree of staff turnover but I think that's an issue that is prevalent in most daycares. Open Space has been such a great fit for our family and we truly appreciate the top quality care they provide.

You can feel the love and care in the air as soon as you walk into the building. The respect that they show the children is incredible. I believe that my son's development soared because of this. In the year and a half that we were at OS, they built a strong team of directors in the front office. They are the first to greet you at pick up and drop off and make themselves available to address any concerns you have in a timely manner. They have even remained in contact with us and supported us after we left. I love the tight-knit community at OS. Everyone on staff knows every student by name and they all lead with joy and positive energy. OS truly does not get enough credit or recognition.

The staff obviously care about the children and it feels more like a family environment than an institution, very loving and relaxed but also not a zoo. It's old-school in that it's not the place to go if you want an app tracking your child's hourly activities or daily Instagram photos to access. However, it's everything we need and we are very happy with them. Our daughter's face lights up when she sees the caretakers and we know she is treated well. Children are permitted and encouraged to explore and learn. They have some directed activities but also plenty of time for children to explore and choose their own work, whether with books, puzzles, toys, or just burning off some energy. They advance students from one class to the next not based on age alone but on students' personal development and readiness. There's great diversity both among the children and the staff. It's also one of the most affordable day care centers I've come across in the area, and I do not feel that we've compromised at all on quality for the more affordable price. The opening hours are also generous, which has given us more flexibility to make both work and home life possible.

The curriculum is wonderfully diverse--blending creative arts, music class, early STEM (yes, I said STEM... even for a daycare), literacy, and cultural learning in a way that keeps our child engaged and excited every day. It's clear that the program is thoughtfully designed to support all aspects of development. The staff at Tiny Giants are truly exceptional. One of their staff members has been with Tiny Giants for 15 years. They're kind, attentive, and deeply dedicated to each child's well-being and growth. You can feel the warmth and care from the moment you walk in, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing our child is in such capable, loving hands. Things we love about TG ... weekly music class, updates throughout the day about how much they've eaten, potty breaks, nap time (start and end time) and the pictures and videos! Lots of pictures and videos. They have recently started doing a themed show and tell on Fridays. This has helped our son to express himself , describe something and create a story. This has also built his own self confidence and to think about something more meaningfully. Music class with Mr Ray is absolutely the best day of the week for our son. Mr Ray loves his job and he will shout it from the roof tops! They also have spirit days and tons of events throughout the year to bring families together and give us something to do with our little ones. They are always giving back... to the commmunity and to their staff. We're so grateful to be part of the Tiny Giants community. They have especially benefitted from the socialization they get with their classmates. I've been especially impressed over the years by the caring community that Tiny Giants has fostered among their families. Whether its been through weekend events, room parent communications, or informal park run-ins with fellow TG families, both our kiddos and my wife and I have made strong connections and fast friends through the Tiny Giants community.
