This company did shoddy service. I agreed to a ONE a time service and they auto renewed me without my permission into reoccurring services which were also shoddy. The fertilizer burnt my yard. They made no attempt to correct it but instead threatened collections over a 150 service that I never authorized to begin with AND that actually burnt my yard. read more

My lawn had problems! I told my husband I was going to invest the time in studying how to make it nice. I quickly learned that it's a lot of work. I started buying all the products needed to correct the various issues, which was expensive. And you have to get the timing just right. It was overwhelming. And then I found the Weed Man :). For less than I was spending on products, they take care of it all, and at the right time of year. My lawn went from the worst looking lawn in the neighborhood to the best. I also crack up every time the Weed Mans truck is in front of my house. I have to wonder if my neighbors think I'm getting pot delivered. read more

This is my 3rd year with Weed Man Services. My yard has never looked better. i Think the cost of the service is very reasonable. The best part is that they stay on top of the treatments and the timing of the treatments. In the past I would buy $100.+ of fertilizer and weed treatment and would only have time to do that one time in the spring. This in-consistent treatment left my yard looking pretty crappy. Using the Weed Man Service has really helped. If you look at my yard now it actually looks like one of those yards that you would say "How do they make their yard look so good". If you use the service you really need to do it for 2-3 years to see the impact. The first year the yard looked better but not as good as it looks now. read more

The Weed Man team is invested in outcomes, a vital outlook for service based companies that many others lack. Chuckling as I type, their fanaticism about killing weeds and nurturing strong, health grass reminds me of Caeser, the exterminator in 1997 movie "Mousehunt." Yes, Weed Man is a premium service that costs me $15 more per application than Scots & TruGreen. But WM created a custom mix tailored to my lawn and weeds. Outcome: WM killed off troublesome, deep rooted weeds that Scots & TruGreen did not, and could not. read more

This is the rudest company in the world. I used them for aeration and seeding - they want you to become a customer, so I did. The technician who came out to do various treatments on my grass not only missed areas, but also rushed everything. Also, she used too large of a spreader which resulted in fertilizer and other treatments spewing all over my pool/spa cover, patio, driveway, walkways, etc. I do not recommend this company at all. And the owner is beyond rude. read more

Our front lawn gets either little sun or a few parts of it get singed. We were to a point where our lawn was mostly weeds. We engaged Weedman to fertilize, aerate, seed, and provide weed control. In just a few months our lawn went from weeds to a green lush lawn that my kids now enjoy walking and playing on barefoot. Our grass is a deeper green than our neighbors. We sign up annually with Weedman. It's costs are comparable to what you would spend buying fertilizer, seed, and weed controllers annually, renting an aeration machine, and time spent using said items. read more

I love Weed Man! We've had their service for a couple of years, and they've made a real difference with our yard. We used a competitor for several years, with little to show for it. Last Spring I finally resolved to "do something" about my weed-choked lawn (even the use of "lawn" was a bit of a stretch). Now, with a full season's experience, I am an exceptionally happy camper. When I signed up, it was to rid my lawn of weeds and I forecast that half the green vegetation would have to be eliminated. It was. The Fall aeration and seeding produced miraculous results. I'm sure I'm the proudest lawn-owner in our neighborhood and have committed to a second year of outstanding service. Service personnel were friendly, efficient, punctual -- all good, of course -- but the real "Wow" factor was the resulting green lawn. When Weed Man sold me the service about 2 1/2 yrs ago, Pablo from Weed Man - Vienna, said that Weed Man has the best seed around. After using Merrifield seed for the last 25 years, I doubted Pablo, but wanted a lawncare service and was ok with trying new seed. Bottom line, when one of the largest lawnmowing companies came to give me an estimate during the most recent 90 degree plus days in late July early August 2020, he remarked that my grass was the best he had seen anywhere. This man was in an excellent position to know because his lawn mowing crews are crawling all over Northern Virginia every week. He talked about how thick the blades of grass were. So I am sold on Weed Man-Vienna. The proof IS in the pudding. How can anyone argue with such positive results? read more

After many, many years of tending to my lawn personally with bags of fertilizer and weed control, lawn food etc. I decided to try WeedMan. How did it go...? Well let's just say I'm never buying another bag fertilizer. I used their service for the entire season last year and my lawn look great. I am looking forward to the spring when the grass starts coming up and I realize I don't have the anxiety of trying to get fertilizer down at the right time... Should I use a broadleaf control...? Weed man did an excellent job caring to my lawn. Before contracting them, my lawn was overrun with weeds and brown patches, and caring to it was a weekend-long activity. To free up my time, and to have a better looking lawn, I decided to go with weed man. They always showed up on time and were very patient, even when dealing with my crazy neighbor who doesn't like fertilizers or green pesticides. read more

I purchased a groupon deal that the company redeemed without having a appointment setup. When i called to set up a appointment for the services, theresa told me that her location does not service my zipcode. She gave me the number to the Maryland location in hopes that the Maryland location would honor the voucher and correct the Virginia location mistake, the Maryland location would not honor my groupon voucher. I now have to wait for a check to be sent out via postal service to have my money returned. The groupon voucher should be more clear in writing about what zipcodes are within the service area. I truly wanted to have my lawn service and im very disappointed. read more

After several months, payments, and complaints, they admitted they could not service what they promised. Their response, sorry, here is half your money back and we don't want you as a customer. We have seen a significant difference in our lawn since last year when they took over servicing our front and back yard (the other service was no good). Be aware of this company! They looked for my name from public records and then they showed up to my house and trespassed my property (my property has a fence, a gate, and a sign that says that my dog is on the premises) and they still came in and sprayed my lawn without my permission or consent. Then, they sent me an invoice for $25.00 using my complete name and address on the invoice even thought I have never contacted them or hired them!! They have done this twice in the last several months even though I called them and told them not to dare trespassing my property again! They are very aggressive to try to get customers to the point of trespassing people's property and possibly damaging your lawn (I have a contract with another company and they had just sprayed my lawn on the same day that this Weedman came and now they have done twice!) I am also reporting this to the Fairfax County Consumer Affairs! read more
