We walked into the store and were greeted by Lamar, one of the kindest sales associates. He was a little preoccupied, dealing with another customer and the U-Haul service out in the parking lot, but he still took the time to introduce himself and give us his attention. I believe this was either not the same mattress or used. Also their box spring did not fit, and I was told it must be my "floor" must be uneven and it was my "bed". Tho after I had to purchase a different boxspring it fit just fine. I've had to put two Bunky boards in between the box springs and the bed just to get it to hold up in the middle for both my husband and I it is a king bed. Hands-down worst purchase I have ever in my life made. I've waited months and prayed about this post. I would just hate to see anybody else make a mistake and trust these people. Change out hardware to your preference. And have new pieces coming and going constantly. I'm looking for a new chest to add color to my living room that is not white or gray! I was very impressed so I had them do my guest room furniture done. When it was delivered I noticed that my dresser wasn't completed so I had to have the owner come over and complete it. 2 weeks later I had my master bedroom done. It didn't go well. He rushed through the job didn't paint the back of my mirror, he half covered the holes that was left because they changed the hardware, smudged the paint on my chest and I demanded that they redo it. My advice is that you go by and ask to approve your furniture before they deliver it and don't pay until your furniture look as good as the furniture he has on display.

It was my first time in the store and was there, ironically, as a General Manager going above and beyond for a customer of my own. Upon arrival, Gywnne informed me that she had just recently been employed at Augustus & Carolina - and to bear with her as she spent time following up with my out-of-the-norm situation/request. In addition to her so diligently following through with my request - she was also the only staff member servicing the showroom that day.
