This spring I cut my lawn for the first time since the tractor was serviced. I then realized that the mulching blades had been replaced with standard blades. I called Ag-Pro telling them of their mistake. Their response, the blades are now used and they would not do anything to correct their error. With that attitude I will not have my annual tune up done by Ag-Pro. For $35 dollars they lost a loyal John Deere customer.

One of my goals via email was to discover what the huge advantage was for a consumer to buy a JD lawn tractor from a dealer over a big box retailer. For instance, do they offer services for their customers that big box stores do not? Like free pickup and delivery even when it's being serviced or bought new? Nope! I asked about maintenance plans or extended warranties. I was abruptly told "no" for maintenance plans. (Seems like that would be something they offered.). Whether it was under warranty factory covered or not. For extended warranties I was told to visit Deere's US website. I asked if they offered rebates or incentives like the big box store is offering on all the lawn tractors right now and they said no. Same tractor. So, shocking they said no. But, they also said they would not get any until August of the ones I was looking at. I guess that the other dealers in town are supplying the big box stores and themselves because they have bigger buying power? I don't want to be too critical as I've never physically been to the location. But, impression I received via email is that they are not exactly wanting to compel a prospective buyer to purchase from them over someone else. I could be wrong though..
