Of all the places we ate at in Vegas this was the best! The drinks were so good, we got the Kinnaree- (lychee & tequila) and the D' Inthanon (gin mango and butterfly pea) cocktails, both were amazing. The Pad Kee Mow and Thung Thong were both so good too. We sat at the bar and the bartender/server Tana was super attentive and fun. We got to try their watermelon and pineapple slushies- so refreshing! I appreciated that they emphasized cleanliness in their restrooms and had a trashcan by the door to put paper towels in after you opened the door. Overall great place, nice ambiance, very clean, not too loud, you could still have a conversation with the music and the bustle. Prices were great too, especially for Vegas. We arrived about 1.5 hours before closing and the place was packed, which is always a good sign. Even with the crowd, they seated our party of 4 in about 5 minutes. Honestly, some of the best Thai food I've had in a while. I love how many dishes they have on their menu, not just the standard basic "pad thai". They have a lot of traditional home cookingThai dishes in addition to more popular/well-known ones. I really enjoyed the glass noodle salad. The sauce flavor was sooo good and refreshing. LOTS of garlic in there so that's my warning to you about your breath afterwards haha The tom yum was huge but so good that I finished it no problem; I might have even licked the bowl clean. Every Weera location's menu is a little bit different. This spot didn't have the tom yum noodle soup that we usually get but they did have a few other gems we haven't experienced at their other locations. First off this location is one of the smaller ones that we've been to. It's also in the heart of Chinatown inside Shanghai Plaza which gets super busy with the parking lot always filled with cars searching for spots. We were there on a Friday night and even with reservations, our only option was to wait 15 mins or sit outside. We decided to embrace the nice weather and took the table outside. Papaya salad (5/5): this is always great at all their location Goong Chae Nam Pla (5/5): this was a raw shrimp that was served with garlic and some sort do spicy sauce. It was super fresh but it was actually pretty spicy. You can't tell that it's spicy upon first bite but continues to build and your mouth is just burning. I enjoyed the heat but I can handle spicy really well and get most of my dishes as 4 or 5 spicy level. So be warned! Chicken pad Thai (4/5): good but felt a little sweeter than usual. The Pad Thai was delicious, just the right amount of sweetness and heat for a 2 star level in heat. The Pad See Ew was average and hotter, this being a 2 star level as well. Nestled in a large strip mall inside China town vegas this is a hidden gem. They have a great happy hour and many appetizers to order from. The beef salad was savory and the salad was fresh and crisp. Also tried the chicken dumplings which were great. The service was attentive and she also explained each of the menu items. This was my first time trying this restaurant. We went around 1 pm and the wait was about 30 mins for a table inside. There are tables outside too but it was wayyy too hot. We ordered a good amount of food to try. My favorite was the pad see ew! Everything was incredibly flavorful and at good portion. We also got a small bowl rice each for the curry and pad ka pow. I had tried their other location and I wasn't too much of a fan. I think it might've been the one on rainbow. But I wanted to give another location a chance. Which I'm glad I did! Pad Thai: 6.5/10 the noodles were a bit too soggy but the flavor was there!! I think the more I ate it the more I enjoyed it but I def think a tad less sauce may have been better. The dish sways towards the sweeter pad Thai which I enjoy more than when they make it too sour. Pad see ew 8/10: beef was tender and the noodles were cooked nicely. It had a lighter flavor than the pad thai. The flavor was savory and I really enjoyed the dish. Pineapple Fried rice 7/10: super aromatic. I can smell that it was cooked on a wok. The pineapples gave it a hint sweet which was great. Tom kah soup 7/10: also packed with flavor and leans towards the sour side. This is hands down the best Thai food I have ever eaten. I came here with a group of 5 and we sat outside. Even though it was winter it was still a great experience and the atmosphere was awesome. I ordered the Khao Soy with fried chicken. I had never had Khao Soy before but I will forever remember my experience here. The fried chicken was super juicy and the curry was incredibly rich and creamy. Eating it was a full experience. The price is great especially for Vegas. It is definitely worthwhile to make the trip off the strip to come here. This is located in a small Shanghai shopping center loaded with a ton of other restaurants. Parking can be very tricky but once you get in the location is very small and I'm assuming, but the decor is super cute. We ordered pad, Thai shrimp, green, curry, chicken, chicken, sauté, and papaya salad. Everything was delicious! We spent about $100 for all four dishes and a couple of bowls of rice. The food was just perfectly seasoned and I would recommend anyone to come back here. Pro tip- they have a Thai spice of one to 5. 2was more of a medium, so I'd be very careful and ordering the spicy side. What a beautiful restaurant, I love the greenery + florals decors. My brother-in-law made reservations for 15 people, and the host had our table ready when we arrived. Service and food were excellent, I know it can be challenging when serving a party with so many guests. They were attentive when we needed extra, plates/chopstick/napkin and refill on drinks. Based on a 3 dish sample, food is not good though great service. Be prepared for them to push alcohol as soon as you walk in. Thai iced tea, something so simple but not good. You can tell it was sitting out for some time. Tasted flat. Pad Thai, what a disappointment. Tastes ketchup based and color suggests as such. Moreover the noodles were spongy. Came here during a family vacation trip for lunch and it was a really good time! My mother had seen this place online and we had to come for it! The place itself opens at around 11 AM and we came for lunch. We pre-emptively made a reservation just in case, but at opening, it doesn't seem like it was needed. The restaurant itself filled out really well as it starting hitting noon, so a reservation might be prudent during that time if you wanted to save the wait. The ambience of the restaurant itself is really cute. There's a vehicle that they place outside of the storefront that you can get inside for a cute photo op if you wanted. Otherwise, the service is really great. Staffing ratio was nice for the many tables and with how busy the restaurant got as it hit noon time. Food came out pretty quickly as well. The food was really good! Some of the things we ordered included the Roast Duck Curry, the Fried Branzino with Tamarind Sauce (which was the star of our lunch), and the Sukiyaki. There is parking available in the plaza, but it was a bit hard to find a spot since it was lunchtime. I was able to get a seat at the bar as a single diner. I always come here for thai food when I'm in vegas and usually eat it family style. Decor is so cute and place feels clean. The papaya salad, kana moo krob, and roasted duck curry were stand out dishes to me. - Papaya salad: fresh and was a good balance of sweet and tangy, it still had good crunch to it and wasn't overly soaked in sauce. - Kana moo krob: the pork still remained crispy and wasn't too salty. I usually find that make roasted porks are hit or miss. Spiciness levels go from 1-5 stars, if you want extra spice make sure to ask your server for extra spicy sauces and they will bring out a tray satays/jalapenos.Servers were good at checking up on if everything tasted okay and refilling water. All the dishes were pretty good but I think my favorite was the Kana Moo Krob (crunchy and fragrant Chinese broccoli complimented by the crispy and smoky pork). I would say my least favorite dish was the tom yum fried rice, where I think it could have used a bit more tom yum flavor/kick and a crispier wok fry. One of my favorite places to go to for Thai food. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. It's located in Shanghai Plaza where parking can be difficult to find during busy hours. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The interior is beautifully decorated and very clean. On previous trips, our favorites were the crispy papaya salad, drunken noodles, and green curry to name a few. The crispy papaya salad is just something you can't get elsewhere, or it's not the same. I believe for most of their dishes that have a spice level, you can choose 1-5. 3 is great if you want a good amount of kick in your dishes to start. If you're sensitive to spiciness, I'd recommend a 2 to start, maybe 3. Most of the dishes I like a level 4 since I do enjoy the spiciness Get the papaya salad (original or crispy), you can't really go wrong. It's refreshing, spicy, and delicious. I like this in a level 3. I prefer my papaya salad more sweet and refreshing with some kick to it, but I want the spiciness from my other savory dishes. Really like the drunken noodles (level 4 or 5, and add beef). I'm a huge drunken noodles fan and this place satisfies my craving for it. I'll eat some during our visit, and take some for later in the night and it's still excellent. I got the fried pork and papaya salad dish this time and it was a good dish. The fried pork belly was perfectly fried. Some of the pork belly was tough though. Their thai tea is very well made, the sweetness and tea is well balanced compared to a lot of other places where the thai tea is overly sweet and just not balanced at all. Fresh coconut was very refreshing. Really enjoyed the coconut meat after. Just reminds me of being back in SE Asia on vacation. We'll usually come here when we're in Vegas.
