We absolutely loved our stay here....one of our favorites!…read more Now, if you are looking for modern, this is not the place to be, but if you love historic buildings, beautiful views, quiet countrysides, vineyards, and old-world type luxury, then you will love Schloss Edesheim. The hotel does not have an elevator, but they will help with luggage if you wish. Our room was on the 3rd floor, but my husband and I did not mind the walk up with our carry-on bags. We were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was quite large, with lovely views from the windows, updated bathroom, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever had. Even though it was January, my husband and I still enjoyed walking the grounds, enjoying the vineyards, courtyard, gardens, pond, and statuary. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was definitely plentiful, with a wide variety of both hot and cold offerings. We only stayed one night here due to other obligations, but I wish that we could have stayed longer. If we have opportunity to travel to Germany again, we hope we can stay at Schloss Edesheim once again!

Found the place ? car park a bit small to far away from main entrance hard to walk and bring cases…read moreon rollers since stones, totally illegal for disabled no disabled parking, no chance with wheelchairs first night when in room problems with hot and cold water, no cold water from basin just warm went to take a shower no hot just cold we complained the maintenance man walked around scratching his head but just looked at boiler and left still problem in room 301. The hotel with no lift and 4 floors is a real bind my wife and I have walking problems carrying luggage is not easy up 3 flights of old stairs with only one hand rail. The stairs are wooden and make me a little uneasy in case of fire been in a few fires and know the problems in emergency! The breakfast was good but not the quality expected of a 4 star not enough room for all guests in breakfast room some had to wait for a free table,
