They offered some great wine options, and serve different dinner specials nightly. My wife had truffle pasta, while I went with the steak and gnocchi. Both were great and paired well with our wine. I experienced exactly this, but was particularly taken by how they position their wines. Now I love my wine but am more into drinking it than actually knowing anything about it ;-) so it was refreshing to be able to tell them what sort of 'experience' I was looking for from a wine (relaxing vs. energising, for example) and they were able to tell me which wine was best... AWESOME!!! Be sure sure to pay a visit next time you're in Berlin, and pay particular attention to the artwork used to depict the variety of wines on the wall (as well as the London-themed pencil sharpeners - those are so cool!!!).

Seriously, the owners put so much thought into this place. It is beautiful and relaxing. The two owners, husband and wife, greeted us very warmly and offered to walk us through our options. Our German being very poor, the owners offered to translate the menu to help our choice of wine. We settled on a German wine that was recommended by the owner. The wine was perfect as we listened to Jack White and talked about how life was different for them when the wall was up. It was a wonderful night.
