I was apprehensive in the beginning and unsure if we should go with a Modular home or stick built. We went with a stick built home and we are so happy with it and with Welbilt Homes! I made so many changes to the floor plan, and Alana was so nice and understanding. They came through on everything they promised. Tracey was very helpful and Raelinn is great. In the beginning I wasn't sure about Chris, but I was wrong. Over and over he has proved to be a man of his word. He told me I could call or text him with any concerns and anytime I did he IMMEDIATELY answered. The house is beautiful and Perfect! I would highly recommend them. read more

We had a slow start due to the fact this was their first time dealing with the different rules and ordinance in our township, but Fran kept in constant contact with us and worked tirelessly to get all our necessary permits. Since construction has started we have been nothing but impressed with the speed and quality of their work. We had been told by many people who have built with other companies to expect lots of problems, but I must say we have only had one or two hiccups and they have been handled quickly with no problem. Knowing my husband is retiring from the Military next month and to spite several months delay in getting permits Welbilt has gone above and beyond getting our house built quickly to guarantee we will not be "homeless" without even once jeopardizing quality. I see now why my friend who recommended them has had two houses built by Welbilt.. read more

Worst.Business.Ever. They lure you in with deceivingly low prices and then overcharge for every "add-on" including paint?? and any HVAC system other than archaic baseboard heating??? Your home will end up costing you more than if you hire a more reputable builder who is upfront with pricing. It's unfortunate that this business steals customers from more honest contractors just because they hoodwink you from the very beginning. Buyers Beware!! read more

History

Established in 1986.

In 1986, Larry Reinert, President of Welbilt Homes Inc had a vision to start his own masonry company after learning the trade working several years for both his cousin and his uncle. He formed what was known through the Tricounty area as Reinert Masonry working masonry for many of the builders in the local area. It wasn't long before he had a new desire and that was to build a few homes himself and found out that the process was second nature for him and within a few short years Welbilt Homes Inc was formed and became a household name. Originally located in Maple Grove, Pa. Larry felt that the only way Welbilt Homes Inc would grow would be to move his headquarters to a more densely populated area and in 2005 made the move to Leesport, Pa. where he built an innovative new Design Center and Office Headquarters. Today along with his wife Fran, his son Chad, his daughter-in-law Kerri, and two granddaughters, Megan and Haylee the future is bright and promising for Welbilt Homes.

His color choice was perfect, the installation was superb, the entire job was flawless. The room was converted to added living space for the new owners, with new, recessed lights in the ceiling, wall-to-wall carpeting and nicely painted walls. He even solidified a window sill that had been an issue for the 30 years we lived in the house. Can't recommend Berks Handyman highly enough. Very nice guy who knows what he is doing. I had a bad experience using Drew's Roofing. I had him fix my roof a year ago and ended up with a…read morebroken window in the back of my house caused by their repair. Drew assured me he would fix it in a timely manner, but here I am a year later still with a broken window. After scheduling repairs he didn't show up, and I now have to resort to paying a different company to fix my window, as Drew has completely stopped responding. The people who recommended him to me had a similar experience with their vinyl siding, they have tried to contact Drew and he never returns calls because of the urgency of their situation they had to call another company in to have it fixed. It cost them an additional $1500.00

He has the best attitude, going to work right away to find the right person to design the system and the right products to use with a multi-tank and sand mound solution. While it wasn't cheap, Creekview's estimate was accurate with no overruns. Creekview worked with our township inspector and arranged for subcontractors in this complex project. At the end of it all, his crew graded and seeded the lawn in both the area of the septic system and everywhere the heavy equipment had caused damage. For professionalism, great work and coming in on budget Creekview and Mervin are the best. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had a tree come down and pull the electric lines and cable wires from our home. They helped me…read moreexplain the issue to my electric company so they would fix their responsibility and even personally contacted them to ensure the job would be done and done right ASAP. Once they heard the electric company would only fix a certain portion they returned to my home and fixed the entire wiring on the outside of my home (even though they planned to come the next day) while the electric company was here as well. They did all this in the pouring rain with a smile. I can't express how at ease they made me during a stressful time. They are courteous and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are officially our go to electricians. I plan on recommending them to my family and friends.

In regards to the one post. We at Welbilt Homes researched threw our files and we have never built for anyone by that name. We have been in business for over 28 years and with the BBB with a A plus rating. So the post must be referring to someone else by that name. read more
