When you go back through door for procedure area it's got numerous sections curtained off. You can tell they get you in and out. Our appt was at 11:45 and I think they are done for day around 3. I remember when this business was actually located in Norman I had surgery there about 15 years ago and then just recently I've started my cataract surgery.. last Monday was my first eye. Everybody there was super courteous, super friendly, super efficient.---and as many eyes as they do, or for that matter procedures in general, their job can probably be pretty repetitious and yet from what I could tell, they traded treated me and everybody else's if they were the only patient there that day. I knew they had a good reputation so I wasn't distressed when my doctor scheduled me there even though I had to drive from Norman I'd rather be with someone that I trust. And I do trust this center. I think medicine is advanced so much that people are able to have these outpatient procedures done where is 20 years ago you might have to stay overnight somewhere. Nothing but good things to say.

I think if you have to live in terrible critical pain on Palliative of Care like Myself they work with you too help find a solution to make it a little better and they are so very excepting and caring and they know when I am not doing very well and when I am having a better day but the ketamine infusions that I have been receiving is critical in my palliative care to keep my meds where they have been! Getting a shot in your spine is always stressful, but the staff here make me feel so comfortable and reassured that I almost look forward to my injections. Key word being 'almost' cause it's still a needle in my spine and that will always suck. The doctors that work out of OSH are all great. I currently see Dr. Valentine, and he is amazing. He always does his best to be patient and kind when giving my injections. He constantly checks to make sure I am doing ok and that I am comfortable. And the nurses here are amazing! It's almost like they are your stand-in mom, there to comfort you and distract you during the procedure. I seriously adore them. So as much as being at OSH can suck because it means you're in pain, just know that this is the best place you can go to get relief!

She asked me a lot of questions and was very thorough, but then began to second guess the medications my main doctor had given me. I've seen that doctor for years, and she is amazing, so it really rubbed me the wrong way. I thought that maybe I might have just been a little too sensitive or moody. So I shrugged it off. I was feeling puny and didn't know the ARNP very well. Flash forward to a month later and I'm told by a coworker that I can get my Rx filled for free if I go to IM Well again. Same circumstance. The ARNP was questioning me to the point of being rude and making me feel uncomfortable. She made me feel like I was drug seeking when all I wanted was my acne medication and B12 shots for free. She ended up refusing to fill it without labs. Ok, so I made sure my labs from a few months ago would be forwarded to her. But no Rx ever came to my pharmacy. I called them to see what was the problem and never got a return call.
