We tried Cavendish which is a short drive from our home but worth travelling a little further with the service they provide. I always manage to book an appointment for the day if I call at 0800hrs. When I make an appointment I will wait no longer than five minute to see the doctor or nurse. I get referred immediately with any issues I'm having. Also same for my seven year old daughter. Recently she got sent home from school due to UTI. I rang the practice at around midday to see her about arranging an appointment and she was seen the same day at 1530hrs. Also the staff and doctors had good bed side manner. Give this practice a go, you won't regret it.

Thanks to Dr. Zein and his team's friendly, patient's centralised attitude. I had many cases when I needed Dr. Zein's advice due emergency (my boy kicked his milk tooth by accident) and he was helpful and kind to my boy. My tooth was chipped last Friday. I phoned the Practice and I've got an appointment for this week. Generally, it's difficult to get an appointment at NHS. I'm very grateful to have Dr. Zein because it's very difficult to find a good, decent Practice/dentist nowadays.

There is no designated car park for visitors, only for staff, so parking is first come, first served on the adjacent streets, crime is quite high around here so leave your car in well lit areas and hide all belongings. All the services are on the ground floor and of course has disabled access. As well as GP services, there is an onsite NHS Dentist and Orthodontist who also provide Dental Anxiety Management sessions for those filled with dread about getting their teeth treated. Treatment Room Nurses can provide all manner of treatments including blood tests, dressings and ear syringing, and the Podiatry services are taking new referrals weekly. Other clinics held here also include, Family Planning, Asthma, Diabetes, Men and Women's health. All clinics don't run daily, so telephone first before attending to book an appointment.

It 's easy to get to right in the centre of…read moretown and as long as it's not an emergency means you don't have to go all the way to Whiston. I have dropped in with a minor injury and I have had appointments for blood test and stitches out. Every time I have received great service, the staff have been lovely and helpful and the wait no to bad. The car parking is across the road but you have to pay and display which is annoying when you don't know how long you're going to be.

All these details will remain confidential and is entirely up to you if you want to pass reasons for your visit to your local GP. This is a good place to pop in especially if you're rushed but not for anything that you are deeply concerned about because they will not provide any prescriptions; instead they will advise you to book your GP for further consultancy. After all, staffs are only nurses and not doctors. If you ever visit here, it's best to arrive earlier than late as it does get packed which means you could wait up to an hour.

Primarily this business is a residential care home specialising in caring for the elderly with…read moredementia. What they have created is a bistro, function room and hair salon which are open to the public. This enables those visiting elderly residents to have somewhere pleasant to go. Also, being open to the general public makes the residents feel part of the community rather than being secluded from it. So, what is the food like? Fairly decent square meals at a reasonable price. It doesn't set any standards but they do what they do well enough. Like most places nowadays, the majority of the menu is made possible by use of the freezer, the microwave and the deep fat fryer. They do do a cooked breakfast before 11am and Sunday lunch is only served until 2pm. I had the meat lasagna which is served with side salad and garlic bread. I also had a side order of chips. My friend had scampi chips and peas. We both had a glass of wine and the total bill only came to £16. The portion size was generous enough and the lasagna was particularly tasty. Customer service is not exactly slick, but friendly and helpful. They have decent wifi (ask for current password) and all major cards are accepted. I plan to try the Sunday lunch sometime, I just need to get there early enough!!
