My kids go here, so I am a little biased (you guys rock Chatterbox!)…read more Before my kids went to Chatterbox, I visited and 'toured' about 6 other childcare centres around the area. There was the 'asylum', the 'concentration camp', the 'jail', the 'slum'... all these words were used to describe these places, maybe my standards were set too high? Maybe these places were a little too dirty in general? Were all daycare centres like this? I had no idea. When we came to Chatterbox, we thought it was too good to be true. Did they have another room they really secretly kept the kids in? A dirty little secret? Turns out they didn't. The ladies who looked after the kids were brilliant, I cannot praise them enough, while other centres had carers who looked well past their worn day, the carers at Chatterbox Jindalee were very passionate about the children and took an interest in each child. They took digital camera shots of activities throughout the day and were very good with telling you of any 'incidents' which happened and you knew your babies were in good care. They also have a full time on-site chef, ensuring not only do they provide your children with clean linen to sleep on, nappies, they also ensured on top of morning and afternoon tea, your kids were cooked a health approved hot lunch everyday. Love love love them, am sending my daughter there next year. I am a big supporter because this centre was devastated by the January floods and have just rebuilt, bigger than ever. They now have a Kindy program, so your kids can stay there all the way to Kindy age. Big shout out to my son's teacher Miss Rebecca - you are awesome.

Sometimes babies cry and you don't know what to do with them. Being a nanny is challenging: you're…read morenever 100% sure what each 'cry' means. Today the unsure cries came from my little man walking through the Southbank Parklands, we turned a corner and a glorious sign from heaven appeared.. "FREE KIDS CLUB" I was in. Bubbles were in the air and giant building blocks were at little stations around the place, a ball pit and an activities table. All free. Like minded mums bonded and their kids played and cried and it was fun. I'd check it out.. it's on twice a week.

It was the most friendly, polite and welcoming childcare centre I've performed at in a long time. Janelle in particular was extremely warm, friendly and delightful! Full of joy and fun! She helped me bring my equipment inside, welcomed me to the centre, and gave me a nice bottle of water. Then she helped me carry everything back out to the car and talked with such passion about how funny the puppet show was, and how everybody would be discussing it for the rest of the day as part of the centre's "reflections" about the day - which sounds like such a great concept!
