Excellent, knowledgable, and friendly staff. Clean, bright clinic. They offer a wide range of services. Used this company for my employees to get their TB testing and flu shots done. The online process makes it super easy with Google Docs to enter employee's names and to keep track of who's got their shots and who hasn't. I just came back from visiting Wellnessmart for the first time. It's like looking into our healthcare future. It's a wellness place so don't be expecting a waiting room. You won't run into sick people (that you are aware). I had a blood draw for testing which was done rather quickly. I couldn't help but notice all the offerings listed in large letters on boards affixed to the walls. It was refreshing to see - in action - full disclosure of fees! On his Mac, the physician, Dr. McCauley was examining a patients' vitals for a school physical via internet from Sacramento. The exam was a seamless process from "need" to "solution" using technology. Listen up folks. It's all about wellness. This is a fantastic alternative to medical solutions. Next time I'm there I'll look into the medical insurance offerings. I highly recommend this location for wellness solutions. read more

Closed on Saturday 11/2/19 and waited a day for the office to tell me that travel consultations were by appointment which normally would be fine if the receptionist wasn't being actively unhelpful. I have been coming to the Thousand Oaks office for several years but I guess they've been hiring people who are indifferent lately by the reviews that I am reading. Went to the Wellness Mart last summer for a TB test. Friendly staff and it was a quick, painless process. Today, I urgently needed a copy of my TB results for a job application and Erin (I believe), answered and without hesitation, brought up my results and asked if she could email them to me. I came here to get some pre-op blood work done yesterday. Staff is great. Place is pretty clean. Felt a little rushed when I called to ask a question about my results. Nurse Joanne is amazing! I came to the WellnessMart today to complete a live scan for employment. From the moment I walked in she greeted me as she was helping another couple and let me know she would be right with me. She is quite the multi-tasker! She greeted each person as they walked in while handling a number of customers at a time. While the other patrons were filling out paperwork she started on my paperwork and was extremely gracious even with the busy workload. When it was finally my turn up she took her time with me and also gave me some great advice as it is flu season and I am expecting. She reminds me of a true mom, so caring, knowledgeable and able to take on many tasks at one time. Thank you Nurse Joanne, you are amazing! read more

Went in for a TB test, was told to return Sunday or Monday before the store closed. I returned Monday after class to be told by the rude blonde lady that I was "late" and she would not accept the reading but I could pay another $20 to have the same test done again, which would once again be negative. I asked her why General doctors offices tell you to come in any time before they close and they still accept the reading while she does not. She not only didn't answer my question, but rudely threw in "well I don't know what YOUR doctor is doing" with such an attitude that it wasn't even worth my time staying in there any longer. She repeated I could've come back on Sunday which was true, however I was out of town so it wouldn't have been possible which I did explain. She then said "Well we have places there too" in a condescending tone as if I was supposed to know that or that I could even go to another location to have my test read. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and will actively avoid having any testing done here. Save yourself the drive and frustration and have your tests done at a local CVS or a Walgreens for $15 more. Was considering taking the CPR and first aid class here since it seemed cheap, but I'd rather just dish out the extra money than come back here. read more

This was a weird experience but I have to say, it worked out perfectly for me. I was looking for a CPR class and came across these guys. As they say in their description, they are not a typical medical facility. It is more like going to fast food restaurant with the menu up above and you can order the services you need. If you need blood work done, a vaccination, a high school sports physical, whatever, as long as you're not sick, you can probably get it done here. The service is quick , and it's a great alternative to waiting in a Dr's office or clinic where you're often exposed to yucky germs. It is all the way out in Thousand Oaks though. I think they have one in West LA too. I do wish the Valley would enter the 21st Century. read more

Awful!!! First I went to the West LA location which was FAR worse than the TO location. I was there for the CPR/first aid training and the place had no live instruction! It was via skype and the internet connection was awful. The actual instructor was in TO so I switched my appointment for the following week there. The instructor was great but the people who work there are terrible! They wrote the wrong expiration date for my card so I had them mail it to me, which never came, so I had to drive out again. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!! read more

I needed a couple of immunizations required by my graduate program. Fast and friendly! Needles don't bother me, but the woman who both checked me in and administered the vaccines was obviously very sensitive to individuals afraid or bothered by needles. read more

Called for appointment and told the reason for vist (travel vaccine). Also confrimed with them they will take PPO insurance. we went there filled couple of forms. After leaving a two star review, based on a lack of communication between me and the staff, the OWNER, Dr. Richard McCauley called me at home. In this day and age, it's hard to find a business that truly cares about customer service. This man stands behind his business and has given me proof of wanting to make sure his customers are satisfied. He listened to my story, apologized, and offered to correct this problem by first sending me full reimbursement; second, better training of his staff, third,:putting the policy in writing on the menu board. It will be nice for everybody to be able to make an educated choice when it comes to spending their money. I was very impressed that he took the time to call me and correct the situation. He took the time to explain his policy, which now makes sense, and treated me like a valuable human being. I am a now a very satisfied customer and feel that they have earned 5 stars. I will recommend them to my friends. And yes, he did send the check. read more

I just went to Wellness Mart to prepare for a trip to Africa. They got me an appointment the next day and greeted me right on time. The person was very thorough and incredibly helpful. I mentioned that my insurance covered some of the routine immunizations but not the travel shots and she wrote complete prescriptions for everything I might need so I could try to get some things done by a covered provider. I got the Yellow Fever vaccination and card that I would need and wasn't covered. It was only $25 for the consult and I think one $30 for all the prescriptions for shots and malaria medication. I would definitely rec this as a first stop for all travelers. And you should call your insurance company directly before the visit. They may cover the hep a and b, polio booster, meningitis and other vaccines that are routinely given in the US. My next stop is Walgreens with my prescriptions because my insurance says they are a covered provider. read more
