on Sunday December 1st , 2024 I cut my index finger and was bleeding profusely. I knew that WellCare now was again an in network provider with Excellus BCBS . I doublechecked with the two front desk staff members who confirmed. I was bleeding through my towel and asked for assistance they simply pointed to the corner to get a paper towel. once I was in the exam room the provider Katelyn Tivey. And she confirmed that the facility is in network with Excellus . At no point did she share that she Is NOT an in network provider!!! Now I am dealing with Excellus bill of 710 dollars !!! i consider it a fraudulent and criminal act by the facility and the Provider to not disclose the fact that PA Tibey is not an in network provider! This happened at the dewey ave in Greece ! As of today 4/6/25 no one has from WellCare Now has contacted me regarding this issue, even though they had replied to my original post stating that someone would contact me . read more

I needed to go to this WellNow UC (Lyell Rd) for work physical. I made an appt for 11 am. Upon arrival I was told it would be a 2.5 hour wait. There were 2 other people sitting in the waiting room? Why have appts available? This is the second time going to this UC for pre- work testing and both times the wait was excessive- over 2 hours. read more

This place is terrible. Excessive wait times. I had an appt for 8:40 a.m. I was the only one in the waiting room but it still took 2.5 hours and they did nothing. There is no Dr on site nor is there anyone who can take x rays so what would be the point in going to urgent care. Meanwhile there were 4 office staff walking around doing nothing but talking to each other. Would have made more sense to fire two of them and hire a Dr, a PA or an x- ray tech. By telling me she did not have time for me, PA Cassidy Smith made me feel like it would be better if I do not seek medical treatment because my life is of no value. read more

I've been here several times in the past and was served well. Things have apparently changed. The last two times I have been there it was a mess. One time the doctor was so scatterbrained that she wrote my script for 20 steroid pills . Thank goodness Wegmans caught it. The second time my COVID test lost with no record of being taken. The people always seem pleasant and professional. They always accommodate me quickly. The premise is clean. However, my last visit the denied me a rapid test. They said I can either have no insurance and pay for a rapid test out of pocket, or if I have insurance, then it's up to the insurance provider. My insurance denied me access to this test even though I'd pay out of pocket. This is MY health the last I knew. When did WellNow and United Healthcare start taking away my right to decide? More frustrating, my husband with the same insurance went in two days later, they gave him a rapid test. WellNow, my money is green and you offer a service - just shut up and give the test. read more

worst urgent care I've ever been to!! my daughter fell a smashed her mouth and we rushed her there. the front staff is rude and wouldn't even consider seeing her, stating that they don't do mouth sutures, which she DIDNT NEED! everything the hospital did, the urgent care could have done! read more

I had excruciating pain in my left side, near my rib. Thought I broke a rib from coughing. They gave a x ray and made me lay down. Was literally crying from the pain as went to lay down (I have good pain tolerance). Rib not broken, but they just suggested the ER. Nothing given to help me whatsoever. I told ER I probably had a bad strain and I hurt.. they gave me lidocaine patches and meds. This Urgent Care was a waste of money. read more

I had an appointment at 1130 they did a strep test and said they would be back in 5 with the results. I sat for 45min before a dr finally came in said its negative and sent me on my way. It was ridiculous plave was not busy no reason for me to sit that long at all​ read more

Great care! You can make an appt online. The staff is very friendly and caring. There are TVs in all the rooms and slushees too!

Spouse diagnosed as not having pneumonia. 2 days later in hospital with pneumonia. Grandson diagnosed after x-ray as not having broken arm. Later in day, other doctor, reading 5-Star x-ray, found he had clearly broken arm in two places. Probably best to avoid this place. read more

I went into this facility after researching online. The website has an estimated time on there. GREAT! Yet, once I got to the facility, and begin the check in process, I was told that the wait time was over 90 minutes. I just checked the estimated wait time and it was 8 minutes. This is a huge gap in time big it was a 20 or even 30 minute wait, I could understand that (ridiculous, but I would understand). This was a big inconvenience for me. I politely left and contacted my doctor. The staff was friendly, no issues with the staff. It's just the issue with wait time. It's just like an ER. read more

My husband had taken me there after a fall. They were very friendly and professional. The facility was clean and well equipped. I ended up having a broken ankle that they casted and stabilized so that I could see a orthopedic dr in the morning. Everyone was friendly and professional and highly efficient at the Greece location. read more

I have been here 3 or 4 times in the past and every time I'm told it would be at least a 2 hour wait. Twice it was just for a Covid test. I find this totally unacceptable. Who wants to sit around for 2+ hours when they are sick ? read more

I had to go here yesterday as I was battling the flu. Not feeling well at all! Fever, aches, chills-the works! I was treated right away and taken to a room. An assistant was right in and took my vitals. She was friendly and listened to me describe all my ailments. She told me I would most likely be getting a flu swab. I've had these before and they aren't pleasant but necessary to detect the type of flu that you have. I guess it helps with future flu shots. The one I got this year obviously didn't help me because I still got the flu! She did indeed need to do that swab but she was quick and it wasn't too bad. It was Influenza A confirmed! The doctor came in and did a few more checks and told me that because it had been a few days with my symptoms, it was too late for the flu drugs but she did prescribed something to prevent it from affecting my asthma which I appreciated. She told me two more days home ( I'm still contagious). And lots of Gatorade and rest. Everyone I pasted on the way out told me to feel better. Such a friendly staff! I have been here before with various ailments and have never had to wait. Should you have to wait, there's a big screen tv, a kuerig coffee machine and a slurpee machine with two flavors! Not such a bad thing! Very clean and bright too. I'm so glad there are places like this around for those times when you can't get to the doctor and you dread the emergency room. read more

I went in because of a neck injury from a previous motor vehicle accident that was causing pain to shoot down my spine and was turned away because I could pay a $100 deposit when it literally said on the wall behind the receptionist that any workers comp or MVA related injuries require an insurance form to be filled out so they can bill the carrier not the patient. Even after noting this and explaining I did not have $100 on hand and was in too much pain to find an atm, the woman still demanded payment before treatment. I will never be returning to this location and I hope anyone with moderate to serious injuries avoids this place like the plague. read more

The experience at Five Star Urgent Care in Greece was excellent, and efficient. It was absolutely wonderful! I'm very pleased with how fast my son was seen and diagnosed. My sons primary was unable to see him so I'm glad Five Star Urgent Care was available and close to home. read more
