Now, that said, I know nothing of their Overdraft charges because I have never used their overdraft before. I know how to handle my money better than to tame more than I have out. So that shouldn't even be an issue with anyone in my opinion. If you don't have the money to spend, don't spend it.. PERIOD. EVERY SINGLE negative complaint is about people being mad with their overdraft policies. It's not the banks fault you spend more money than you have in your account, and they have STICT policies on the situation to try and stop it from happening. But yes, after 10 years I am quite happy with FCB. And I expect to be with them for 10 more years.

This is a review for the bank in general, not just this branch…read more First Convenience Bank is the fast food of banking. Looking to serve a standard/sub-par service to the masses. Every time I've gone to any branch of First Convenience Bank (Marble Falls, Stephenville, Galveston, Fort Worth branches) they are always very busy, with only two employees working with customers, while everyone waits in line for 10-20 minutes. All the while, even though they are busy beyond belief, they always have someone standing out front recruiting more people that are walking by. This adds more wait time for customers who are trying to do something simple like make a deposit. The staff at these banks always seems to be less knowledgeable and qualified than that of employees of other banks. Young post-highschool kids and older ladies with no real expertise, mainly. I've also had a hard time getting them to give me straight answers about overdraft charges and such. They use words like "maybe" and "I think" but won't tell me exactly what's going on in the back drop. They have a $34 overdraft charge, and they add $34 more every 5 days that you are in negative balance. Other banks have a single overdraft charge that doesn't increase every few days. I hate this bank so much I really wish I had the nerve to just overdraft a thousand dollars or so and never do business with them again. They place all of their branches in stores like Walmart so they can get as much traffic as they can, although they are less than capable of handing that many people. Just like hair salons in Walmart always suck, so do the banks. Get a real bank.
