My account has a custom security verification code specifically set up on my file for decades. Despite this, my recent interactions with their staff have been completely unacceptable: *Kyle: Refused to look for my custom code and demanded my last 4 SSN instead. When I objected, he literally sighed, put me on hold, and hung up on me. *Jasmine: When I called back to report Kyle, she actively resisted transferring me to a manager, and even resisted helping me when I stated I needed to close my accounts. *Carmen (Assistant Manager): When I finally reached her, she was incredibly curt and snide. She told me she noticed I live out of state and bank online, and condescendingly snapped that I "should know" their policy. Account Lockout: Immediately after I stood my ground and tried to complain, my online banking access was completely locked out. I just updated my password on August 19, 2026, so this abrupt lockout feels completely retaliatory. Zero Response from Leadership: I emailed a complaint to the President, Robert M. Fryberger Jr., and left three separate phone messages. Not a single person has had the decency to call or email me back. This isn't an isolated incident--five of my siblings previously left this credit union for Navy Federal because of how poorly they were treated. I didn't want to believe them, but now I see firsthand how Fitzsimons treats loyal members. They have a great app for checking your accounts and have recently added the feature where you can do mobile deposits. It is really cool and fabulously convenient. It can be 2 am and you can deposit a check from your lazy boy. The only bummer is it doesn't work for depositing cash. I deal with 2 area banks but most of my business has come here because of the superior service and communication. I recently even refinanced my car just so I could move the loan to them. Not like you need to refinance a 3.99% loan... But they actually could give me a better rate! Go talk to Karla, Debbie, Ann, Julie, Nick or Brandon. They will gladly help you with whatever you need.
