To the Branch Manager (aka rude, "want to be know it all" but actually unintelligible person) It seems like this branch is due for a very in depth training , in protocols and customer service. It's no wonder Wells Fargo's wonderful name is no longer associated with being wonderful. Pretty tragic, such an institution has had such a decline. Prayers for the financial institutions in Wyoming, but mostly for the people of Wyoming. Please do better Wells Fargo. Hard working people depend on you. If this could've been negative stars, bet your bottom dollar this review would be negative 5 stars. I hope the people working at this branch have better days ahead of you. This Bank is unbelievable. I am truly NOT impressed. My husband went to the Downtown branch,on Capitol in CHEYENNE, WY. to cash some checks. The teller actually give him too much money. We have spent all morning TRYING to phone the local branch to give the money back so that the cashier won't be short . No one answers. Finally someone from out of state answered. We had to make an appoint to bring the MONEY Back. But that appointment is 12 days from now......REALLY? The sign on the door says to go online to make an appt. You can't make an appt online! And no one answers the phone. Tried to go through the drive thru and waited almost 1hr! If your going to route everyone to the drive thru you better have it fully staffed and moving. Wells Fargo sucks. read more

this was by far the most dishonest banking experience i have ever seen, if not criminal too. The banker that opened our account altered our documents without our consent, and later when they were asked to correct their malicious behavior, we were looked upon and said "that's too bad"!!! later the branch manager VICTORIA O said to us "you can close your account and go somewhere else" in a very rude and snooty way...... when my wife who is Asian and who is handicapped attempted to speak with the branch manager, Wells Fargo manager VICTORIA O. responded with: "I am having trouble with your accent you guys you can just close your accounts and go somewhere else, we don't deal with customers like you" !!!!!!!!. this was the most unprofessional racist bigoted branch that I have ever seen in my life. avoid at all cost. to anyone who is considering doing business with these people first google "Wells Fargo scandals" and you will see what this company is made out of. no one seems to care not the district managers, or regional managers, no one.... I absolutely hate Cheyenne's Wells Fargo....we originally opened up this account in Riverton where the service is outstanding. Cheyenne...not so much.....They have put holds on our funds, refused to let me DEPOSIT into my sons account,(I asked for no information about his account, provided them with his name, date of birth, ssn#, home address....I did not have his account number and nor did he as he is military and was in the field asking me to put money into his account so he could get home) They refused to allow me to put money in without his account number. They will NOT give you any information even with verifying information ie: your own account number over the phone (which makes me wonder why they even have a phone) WHEN they decide to answer it ...I actually sat on hold last week for over 20 minutes waiting for someone at either branch to pick up. Depositing a check is a nightmare...I understand holds on checks must be placed at times...but every single deposit 100% of the check is unreasonable. Their customer service sucks...plain and simple....move you from person to person and get nothing resolved. I can not wait to get back to Riverton where they are friendly, know you by name...treat you with respect...and help in anyway possible with any financial issue you may be having. Cheyenne branches could use some training in the customer service section. read more

I hate Wells Fargo with a passion. I don't like to be negative but they charge me to do do a balance inquiry at another banks ATM. I use my credit union whenever possible because I have almost no fees for anything. My job requires me to have access to a Wells Fargo account and it's annoying. Very poor customer service. District manager Ryan is unable to resolve customer issues or train managerial staff on issue resolution.

The staff at this location are always super friendly and helpful. it is also nice having branches pretty much wherever you go and ATMs that are in the Wells Fargo network everywhere you go so you don't have to Pay ATM fees when traveling outside of the Cheyenne area. In addition if you need to talk to a person outside of normal banking hours. Is also nice to have the 24 Hour Call Center you can call and talk to. They are also one of the few banks that support Apple Pay in this area read more

Absolutely awful experience! This bank stole money from me. I had received an insurance claims check from Wells Fargo bank for something that happened to my vehicle. I went to cash the check after work so that I could then take that money to the garage and pick up my repaired car. When I went the lady stated I would need to pay $7.50 to cash the check because I was not a member. I explained that did not make any since nor seemed right as the check was through Wells Fargo. That's why I went to that bank to cash it. The lady again was rude explaining I could cash it or not it's up to you. I tried to reason with her again and eventually asking for a manager. Is this legal? You can't take that money because it is legally mine through a claims process. Again the lady did not budge and just stated it was policy. I will never be a customer through this awful bank and I will encourage all who I encounter to not ever bank with this institution. read more

I am so disappointed with the service I received at Wells Fargo Bank. I applied for a personal loan to finish construction of my basement and I was lied to. Nobody seems to know which way is up or down. Wells Fargo needs to hire competent employees who can provide underwriting with factual information instead of passing the buck. So the company I work for switched banks to Wells Fargo. I get my first Wells Fargo paycheck, I go to Wells Fargo here in Cheyenne. I wait in line for 20 min the teller then tells me I have to speak with a banker in order to cash my check, so I get out of line and go sit in the waiting area to speak to a banker. The banker wants me to open a account, I don't want to open a account with Wells Fargo I've had bad experiences with them in the past I just want to cash my check. So the banker then tells me I may now cash my check. So I get back in line 20 min later I get to the teller the teller then tells me I will be charged $7.50 to cash my check which is drawn on a Wells Fargo Account! So anytime I want to cash my paycheck at the bank its drawn on I have to speak to a sales person (Banker) and get charge my hard earned money to cash a check drawn on your accounts. Way to never ever again have my business and trust me I will spread the word. read more
