Then he attended to me like annoyed and he did not even try to see if he has newer bills. Like i waited for 5 mins and this guy would just tell me - no new bills , without even looking in the vault or his teller counter. He is A male -asian, did not get his name. In contrast to Chase in 82nd Fredmeyer. The lady Manager/ Cashier was so attentive the moment i walked in. Asked me what i need. Told me to fill up deposit slip and she will find me newer bills at her vault. Like Wow! Awesome customer service 82nd Chase.

Their initial review was very basic and they denied me without gathering any information. I had to follow up with OnPoint numerous times for them to re-review the case, all the while they just tell me to keep waiting. I had to send them notes to check cameras at ATMs and provide them documentation they should have gathered if there was any research done. Didn't seem to have interest in making a difficult time any easier. Be weary of their fraud department and don't take their word for anything, do your research if you have been defrauded as the internet provides much more info then OnPoint's fraud dept.

I found the Happy Valley branch ( much closer to my new home) to be every bit as friendly, helpful, bend-over-backwards as the Belmont one. ​This must be a Rivermark trait, to hire people who smile and are competent and efficient. I initially opened accounts at a Canby-based credit union, but they treated me as an annoyance and no one ever smiled. If all you ever need is a kiosk and can do all your banking online, this probably isn't a big deal, but if you need to conduct business that involves face-to-face transactions such as power of attorney or notarization of documents, Rivermark is the gold standard of banks.

Today I needed to get information to complete a retirement document for my girlfriend. I needed to verify which number on a check was the routing number and which one was the account number. The worker i approached was rude and said if I wasn't on her account she couldn't help me. Excuse me this is general information. She could have showed me with my account. She just decided and made no effort to understand my need. I went a head and googled it. Easy Peasy. I am use to getting help from Sandy or Milwaukie. Understand I needed general information. I already had a check and was holding onto a number of documents. I was clearly upset. If an employee has made somebody frustrated they could check with another employee or figure out a work around. I won't go back into Happy Valley branch of Onpoint. Two other experiences with rude staff.
