She set the tone for the other employees who were very nice and knowledgable and clearly enjoyed their jobs. It appears NVE recently merged with Ion Financial and everything went down hill from there for customers. All the old staff left or was let go. Tech support was never great and still needs work. My online account is literally adding incorrectly. My current balance at the bank is off by $2000+ and no one seems to know why it's not adding up. How that can happen I have no idea. One day, I heard the woman at the front desk tell a senior to go home and try to figure out how to use her online account, rather than taking 5 minutes to help her. They also decided I cannot have a debit card because there was fraud on my account at some point. They hold transactions for as much as 4 days in an attempt to position the bank to make it look good at the end of the day. That's typical, but 4+ days? Systems are antiquated and "customer service" is non existant. An oximoron. I only use it now for paying bills. I'm getting everything ready to close the account completely. I had a number of deposits that I moved to a larger, more efficient, bank. Their offers for CD's, etc. are not competative either. My suggestion, go with the bigger banks that have experienced staff and systems that actually work. The funny thing is, they market themselves as a "community bank" with great customer service.

She also sent someone to my house to deliver a check for interest on the CD that I wanted to keep. I have never known a bank to go above and beyond in their customer service. It was such a pleasant surprise to receive such great service. Rosanne and Unity Bank have earned my loyalty and respect and I will put them number one on my list whenever I have a new deposit.
