But it seemed like there was double the people off-base who parked at optimal viewing spots. Not a bad idea, especially if one doesn't like crowds or traffic. Free on-site water stations and ATMS were more readily available.

It currently shares runways with Yuma International In addition to the test Squadrons, Yuma is home to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing which mainly flies the F-35B. However one unit flies drones. The other units are rotor and tactics/Intel. As with 99.999% of all military bases unless you work there, there is little or no visiting unless there is an air show or you have business on the base.
