Ok, ok, --So you kinda have to know what you are in for before even making the trip out on any Sunday. I like to call it a cultural experience.
It is very hood indeed, but it is a market--and what goes better with fake burberry, samosa's, and incence than chav's, asians, and rasta's?
I have to admit I would never buy anything from most of the vendors here--although I was tempted to naturally drift towards the shouting 2 for 5pound table :)
They do have some finds all the way in the back--it is like a truck pulled up and basically auctioned of mostly electronics and household items for dirt cheap! --portable dvd players 20pounds, brand new lamps, irons, kettles, tea makers, ets---all 5pounds and at the end of the day 2 for 5pounds!! They had massage chairs for 25pnds--thats just crazy!
Other vendors have tracks suits 2 for 35pnds, pillows 4 for 5pnds, this place has a plethora of random odd bits.
Anyways, it is defintley visit at you own risk--cash only, visit during daylight hours kind of place! read more
