If i could give this wendy's 0 stars i would. i roll through the drive thru and all i get is a "hi". that's just strange but anyway we got up to the window and no words were said and she took my phone and didn't even know how to tap it. she knew practically no english. finally the manager shows up and we're expected to be relieved and he barely knows english either and does the same exact thing as the girl. eventually we got it to work and the girl was just laughing at us in the background. i proceeded to say "why is she laughing?" and the manager says they don't speak english. why would you have someone working a costumer service job without knowing the native language. she's literally taking orders. i asked these exact questions and he just proceeded to make up bs excuses and gave the most half ass apology i've ever heard. absolutely tragic to see America like this. read more

The service is terrible because, unfortunately, there's a language barrier. The manager took my order, but she couldn't understand the fact I just wanted the nuggets, not the meal. She did the same for both orders of nuggets. Then she added two sauces which I didn't request and she charged me for them. And forgot to include the fries. So this place sucks. All fast food in Key West sucks and Wendy's is no different. I don't like the way they treat me. I don't like the fact that something is wrong with my order every single time. Not here or there but every single time. Tonight they gave me a diet Coke instead of a Coke and a small chili instead of the large I paid for. It's not a Greek tragedy but it's every time. Every single time. I also don't like that they're causing real world problems because they're so slow. This is the only place I've actually seen somebody put it in reverse and try to back out of a drive-thru. Almost hit us - check out the video I posted. This Wendy's is hands down the best in North America. Here's why. #1 The view from the dining room is spectacular. #2. It is so clean and fresh inside that it makes you feel very comfortable #3 The staff and manager are totally professional, especially Pierre the manager and Manao the girl at the register. #4 The food quality is fantastic. Not having much of an appetite I decided to stop at Wendy's and get a salad. Unfortunately, my carb cravings got in the way and I got the bacon Nader fries instead. They were wonderful. My only complaint is the container opened in my bag, but the dog loved that part! If i could give it less than 1 star I would. I get off work at 11pm so it's the only thing close by that's open late. I went to drive thru and ordered the bacon Asiago ranch chicken club, and fries with no salt. (I'm not allergic to it I just would rather not have too much salt). I get to the window and taste a fry and they DROWNED my fries in salt. I asked "I said no salt, what if I was allergic? It's not that hard to make a new batch without salt". They got an attitude with me but ended up getting me some new fries. I drive home ready to dive into my food and I take a bite and you won't believe what I say. HOT PINK meat. My chicken sandwich was 95% raw. So raw that the breading didn't even stick to the meat. I couldn't eat, my appetite was ruined and now the next morning I feel sick. Will never go back and will continue to tell People that Gene is an awful manager and will yell at anyone inside the store. We were there Sunday at lunch before the hurricane was going to come through. I was very nervous and I have Heath issues and just climbed the stairs and walked in and I didn't have my mask at the top of my nose and he yelled at me. I was there with my husband and his brother and wife. There were only like 3 other customers in the sore. One was at the back of the store and was eating and the others were waiting. We witnessed Gene yelling at the workers like he was a general in a communist army. After we ordered I was was heading to the tables which were all dirty and I asked for the table to be cleaned and was getting ready to sit down he yelled at me again to put my mask up. I told him not to yell at me and he threatened to call the police. He made the issue into something it didn't have to be. It's a shame that location has such a manager. The pictures dont have the proper meals on them and the employies in the drive through give no respect for the customers. The drive-through line was very slow, and when I got to the menu, I noticed a lot of items on the dollar menu were overly inflated. I expected a mark-up from being in the Keys, but some things were 3 or 4 times the normal price while other things were normal price which didn't make much since. Let me say there was only 2 cars in front of me and the inside was empty!!! My fries were hot and my soda was cold, which was the ONLY good part about my meal! The spicy nuggets I ordered were not spicy, the were regular and VERY cold!
