I was lucky enough to go to the launch event for Shhared coworking in Hamburg (sept 2014) after…read morehearing about it recently. I'm a big fan of the website www.shhared.de and the concept so I was eager to see how it looked in person. Despite the detailed description of the idea and philosophy, I always find it useful to see and experience things personally. As Shhared is new it will take time for the word to spread and of course people may want to try working there for a few weeks or months but it does tick a lot of boxes. It's a colourful, large and easy to get to place to work or meet up. They have inside and outside space. Short and long term options, hot desks, permanent desks and offices to rent. There is also a meeting room and cafe that sells hot and cold food and drinks. Lots of positives to talk about and a great choice for freelancers, remote workers and people who need a change of scenery. Speaking about scenery, Shhared is set in the Otto von Bahrenpark (Bahrenfeld, Altona) which has green spaces and a little lake. On the the other hand these places are always best with a little community vibe/a lot of people in them so this startups' potential will be reached when more men and women start working and meeting up there. Amazing effort for a startup and great Latte!

There are options for people who want to stay shortish term and long term in an open area or private room. The chairs are really comfortable and the food is nice (it should be for the price .) On the whole a positive review but it's very expensive and it looks so high end I'm not sure if I'm meant to be there. I'd like a bit more accessibility, diversity and experience factor. Also community and relationships are really important to me when work in a publicly. Good alternative to Friends Factory and Design Offices.
