A beautiful waterfront bar with in and outdoor seating. Neat upbeat rock music playing. Had an awesome smallbatch gin and tonic. Quite a mixologist's bar. Friendly and knowledgable lady bartender. Lots of bottled beer with limited drafts. A wonderful place to relax. Also loved the active gas-fire display. Some nights, its better than an aquarium, for sure. read more

We stumbled upon Werner's Dilemma while wandering around Stavanger after dinner, it was located behind some tents set up for the ONS but normally it would have an unobstructed view of the waterfront. I ordered a Tau which was a local lager and cost NOK72, which considering how expensive Norway is was very reasonable. I really enjoyed the atmosphere which felt incredibly relaxed. Even though it was August, I appreciated the fire next to booth. In the cold winter months it would be a cosy spot to nurse a beer. One of my favourite places in Stavanger. read more
