Avoid Huggins Insurance and Liberty Mutual…read more Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Huggins Insurance, Liberty Mutual, Kari Coffey, or Cristina Bakanaga. I was a customer of Huggins Insurance for many years and consistently paid my premiums. On May 28, my Liberty Mutual business liability policy was canceled for alleged nonpayment, even though I had already submitted my payment. I later provided proof of payment from my bank. Even after providing that documentation, I did not receive the assistance I expected in recovering my $1,581.98 refund from Liberty Mutual. I ultimately had to handle the matter myself. My Washington contractor bond was also canceled even though it had been issued only about a month earlier and had been paid for a full one-year term. As a longtime customer, I expected Kari Coffey and Cristina Bakanaga at Huggins Insurance to advocate on my behalf with Liberty Mutual. That was not my experience. Instead, I was left trying to resolve the issue on my own while my refund remained unpaid. If you are considering Huggins Insurance or Liberty Mutual, I encourage you to carefully research your options before making a decision. If you are already a customer, it may be worth comparing other agencies that you believe will provide stronger support if a billing or coverage issue arises.
