My son came home and said a boy in his class said that people from California are disgusting pigs. Turns out the kid who said this to my son was (Mrs Millers) the teachers son in the same class as my son. Wonder where the kid heard that. So my son got picked on being the new kid in the school and a boy punched my son and caused him a nosebleed. I was never informed or contacted about that. I had to bring it to the teachers and principals attention. Then my son came to me to tell me that the principal Mrs. Miller pulled my son into her office by himself and started to talk to my son about sex which made my son very uncomfortable btw my son was in 4th grade. That also was not brought to my attention nor was contacted about the situation nor did anyone ask my permission for see if I was ok with that. Which I would not have been under any circumstances. I once again had to bring it to the principles attention and asked her why was this done and why once again I was not informed of any this and all I got was another apology. At the end of the school year I was told my son would not be accepted to school the following year. My son was a straight A student and ended the school year with all A's and 3 B's but yet they used the excuse for my son returning for misbehaving in class. If my son would have been misbehaving as they said he was. How was it that my son was getting all of his work done and getting such great grades? I just feel as if we were being discriminated against due to our nationality. They say this is a school for Latinos which is why I put my son there in the first place but we can all see that it's a predominately white school. St. John's is not a religious school. We are new to Spirit Church --started at the Christmas Eve service. The sound system is excellent…read moreso you can actually understand the speakers and singers. I'm amazed. They have a great children's and youth program. We the students seem quiet knowledgeable. Before the service they gave a cafe with food and coffee/hot tea. With table and chairs to allow guests to socialize. The praise and worship is very contemporary and not too long. The service lasts an hour to hour 15 minutes. There is a defenders class on Saturday evenings to learn how to defend your faith We have lived in Bartlesville for 12 years-- we have been a part of several church bodies --all great and finally feel like we have found a home. It's a sweet fit I hope if you are visiting or moving to Bartlesville that you will come check it out.

She loves the church and everyone there goes out of their way to watch over her. Can't say enough good things about everyone there.

Two excellent pastors. A Traditional service at 8:30 AM with Choir. Contemporary service at 11 AM…read morewith Praise Band. Less of the liturgy, more of the modern Christian music. Modern projection system gently supports the religious theme during first service. It may become spectacular at the Contemporary service. A free coffee, tea, juice snack bar is welcoming. You may take your drink into the service. Dress code is whatever you want to wear. Sunday School classes for all ages between the two services. The Children's Programs are nothing short of OUTSTANDING. Lots of activities for elementary children and the youth- middle school and high school besides Sunday. During the 9 month school year a FREE MEAL on Wednesdays followed by Bible study or other activities at 5:30. Church members, youth, and children conduct mission work locally and around the world. Best of all, an extremely friendly and welcoming church to visitors.
