So 8 years later the very rude gentleman said he would have that done as it was overlooked. We were told by an employee the case was broken and had been taken in to be repaired and was not put back on yet. The manager scolded the employee as he told us we would need to purchase a new one and it was stolen. "Those things happen, and a good one is $500 to $700." He smirked and asked if we wanted a good one! The grounds need mowing and it's not run well. Put your loved ones somewhere else!

Been going back and forth to Joplin with my last remaining uncle in ICU. He had emphysema and then…read moregot flu and pneumonia a couple of weeks ago. Passed away last Sunday morning. He had alsways told me that he had bought a burial plan from a Carthage funeral home. L had even gone to the funeral home a week before he died to check and make sure he actually had a policy and they assured me he did. Last Monday they got him and I went over there and they told me that they would do the funeral according to his policy, which I had found in his stuff, signed by the owner of the funeral home (now dead). Tuesday they called me up and said "there is no money in the trust". I showed them the receipts from 1991 and they said they didnt know what happened to the money or if any was even exchanged. My uncle had left everything to the Missouri Baptist Foundation and they said they would pay for the funeral. Then on Wednesday about two minutes before the funeral started , the director came and got me and wanted me to sign a "Goods Received " paper for $12,000. I think it was actually a promissory note and I wouldn't sign it. Neither would the reps from Baptist Foundation. The disrector was very unhappy but went on with the funeral. Tha moral to the story is NEVER buy a pre-paid funeral plan. Put money in a "pay to beneficiary on death" CD or savings account for a relative or trusted friend. Then they can get cash and shop around for funeral pricing, which funeral homes have to give over the phone by law. You may think you are helping your family by pre-paying a funeral home, but you are just helping the funeral home.They make it sound good but its almost always and rip-off with hidden costs.

First class run place. Here for a memorial service for my dad. They had speakers throughout the…read morebuilding allowing us to listen in by not be in the room with our kid who was stir crazy and wanted to crawl and make some noises... Hallway around the corner had an extra restroom came in clutch!!! Decor was warm and A/C kept us cool from the heat outside. Bathrooms were super clean and overall a nice place.
