Doug did a great job installing our doggie door. The place I bought the door from sent some defective screws that were too large to thread into the door. Doug first tried to find these unique screws at two local stores but they did not carry them. He then documented the problem and sent the doggie door company a nice email with pictures explaining the problem and copied me. Doug installed a vent hood over my gas range. The installation was tricky since there had been a microwave in the space previously. He made sure that the exhaust vent above the vent hood was to code and had to make a trip to Home Depot to purchase the correct materials. Doug saved the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Accidentally kicked some outdoor piping at my friend's new property, broke a pipe and had to turn off the whole house water. Doug has recently helped me with two separate plumbing situations - one involving a leak under my bathroom sink, and the other involving a leak in the spray hose under my kitchen sink. I called him again and he said that he would have to come out again and remove the motor to find the correct size. Our air conditioner leaked right through the living room ceiling! Not good in Texas with mold issues; you have to move fast. Doug was recommended by a neighbor and was over the day we called. He removed wet insulation, cut up the floor and let us borrow his professional fan for days to dry the attic out. Then came and replaced the insulation, and repaired the floor! Though I didn't need his services for the ceiling repair (the air conditioning company took care of that) I know he could have done that too if needed.
