Hmmmm....well I called Monday looking to purchase a flat aluminum trailer or an 18' cargo trailer "Scott" wasn't there so I left a message with a phone number. The woman told me he'd call me by 10am. I really need a trailer I stopped in around 10am, Scott wasn't there yet so I told the woman I'd be back around 3pm I came back at 3pm, Scott was there but on the phone. The boat trailer business in Florida must be hot. I didn't realize that the lead time for new trailers was "many weeks" as opposed to buy them off the lot. Sadly, I waited too long for a boat I needed to get from SW Florida to Chicago. After calling a dozen or so dealers, I found a suitable trailer in Fort Pierce, which was about 3 hours away. I asked the sales guy to give me an hour to line up someone pick the trailer up for me. I called back about 45 minutes later and they had sold the trailer... Rather than focus on the bad experience, let me tell you how Scott Lazarus at West Coast Trailer came through for me. I had an SUV to pull the boat that needed to be back in Chicago, I had a ticket purchased for a guy flying down to Florida to help me drive back up and, I had a deadline to get back myself. After searching the net for a certain model of a 16' utility trailer, I found Scott late on Friday, but saw that he is closed on Saturdays. I called him and explained my urgency to get a trailer for the next day to move a large load. He agreed to meet me the next day (Saturday) to make the sale. West Coast Trailer is a wonderful business. We had a torn strap and crank spring. It was a dangerous situation and we felt uncomfortable towing our boat. By chance we decided to swing by West Coast Trailer and get their opinion. They were able to completely replace the mechanism and strap in 15 minutes while we waited!! AAA failed us on Rt. 75 but West Coast Trailers came through like a champ. We had a tire and rim leave the trailer and left us with a broken hub and bearings that we could not move.  we tried to get Triple 'A' to tow us (since we had the towing insurance for the boat trailer) and they left us hanging saying they could not find anybody.  I called West Coast Trailer to see if they would mind if we had it towed there (if we could find someone) and they said they had on-site service and would come to us.  We took them up on this later that evening after 1:00am by leaving an email with them.   We got a call from Scott early in the morning to tell us he was going into the shop earlier since he got in touch with his person and was going to get the parts needed to be ready for him when he got there.  His person was on the job fixing the trailer before I got back to the boat and trailer on Route 75 and had us going within 90 minutes of us getting there.  NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!!  SOMETHING "AAA" DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT WHEN YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR THE TOW!! I went in to see if they could repair my kayak trailer lights. One of their service technicians came out and made sure the vehicle side was ok and tested the trailer. He quickly noticed a broken ground and fixed it right then. The manager said it was free. I bought another ball for a different hitch and gave the technician a tip. These people are real and genuine . These are the type of business which does great work and is very fair.
