My Gieco insurance includes roadside assistance so they called West Cobb Towing because I'm assuming they're the closest company with a flatbed tow truck that could assist me. I called at 9:45 and they told me 1 hour and 15 or less. I called back at 11:10 only for them to say it would take an additional 44 minutes. Time passes and they send me a text saying 12:00pm. They didn't even have the decency to call and tell me that, I had to call them to get the new ETA info. read more

Verizon road service had them as the company to tow my truck 2 miles. I was told that it was 2 to 3 hours. I wasn't happy about it but there really was nothing we could do so I accepted it. 4 hours later, I asked for an eta. They said 45 minutes. 2 hours later and they said it would be another 45 minutes. We ended up just cancelling. Verizon had already put a complaint on their record without us asking them to. It's ridiculous that when we rescheduled the tow I had to specifically make sure it was NOT west cobb towing. read more

THE WAIT ISNT THEIR FAULT! If you look at the review its because they had their insurance, dealer, whatever schedule. Im going through this saga right now, BMW completely screwed up scheduling my tow TWICE! TWICE! This is BMW, I paid a premium for that. Once i finally got BMW to tell me who they sent (again, this is after BMW forgot to have anyone pick me up twice after billing me and whatnot) I called West Cobb DIRECTLY. The lady was able to confirm the reservation and told me where the driver is now and a realistic ETA. It took over 3 hours to get BMW to even call the tow company to pick me up. These guys (West Cobb) showed up ON TIME and the guy was nice/professional, was very careful with my car (including double-checking after going over the first bump) and the truck was clean (I rode with to the dealership). He also offered to take me around to the front of the dealership after dropping off my car but I know that would have been really hard in the big truck so I walked through the dealership instead. So, unless they damaged your car or you called them directly its likely the fault of your insurance company (or BMW Roadside in my case) for the 9 hour wait on the side of the road, go over to their page and crap all over that one. My daughter was in a wreck. The police called these people. Very frustrating dealing with them. No consistent schedule. Having to wait around to give them money. I told them someone was coming to get the car and they left it inside the fence. Now he is inconvenienced. read more

On the way to work, my car started misfiring, pulled over to get a tow. I drive a lowered car, they were able to accommodate to me and had me at my mechanic shop within an hour an a half. Prices are good too!! I'm very pleased with the service and will continue to use them. This was the 3rd time. JAMES AND RONALD were awesome. read more

My insurance also hired this towing company for a jump off. My battery had died. I called them at 12:03pm and he did not get there until 3:11pm. The eta was suppose to be 1:15 so at 1:45 I call my insurance company and they tell me that the customer before me changed destinations therefore it was going to be another 30 minutes. Ok..... so 2:40 comes along still no tow truck as I'm calling my insurance the driver calls and says he is there but cannot locate me.....come to find out, he's at the wrong store. Apparently my insurance gave him the wrong address. Luckily I was only about 10 minutes away. By this time it's after 3, he pulls in next to me and doesn't say a word. I open the hood and he connects the cables from his wrecked tow truck to my car and says he has to let it charge for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes he removes the cables and starts packing up. I asked if I needed to sign anything and he said nope and gets in his truck. I had to lower my hood and he leaves. Worse experience ever. As a disabled woman I should not have had to go through this much headache for a jump. I understand the last 20 minutes or so was my insurance companies fault, but 3 hours.......never will I use this company again. was told the driver would be to my house in an hour. No one got there for two hours and i was given an attitude by a man when i called to ask how far the truck was because i had to go to work. His exact words were "i have no idea where he is but your up next so he will get there when he gets there". I needed my car towed out of mud and i guess im silly for thinking that if i pay 80 for something to get pulled out of the mud that it would get pulled all the way out. When i called back to say that my car was pulled out of one hole of mud and moved right back into another hole they told me i would need to pay another 80 to fix it and refused to refund . The man that towed my car was the filthiest, most foul-smelling individual I have ever experienced. I was appalled to see him touching my keys and interior of my car. Upon picking it up, I had to clean it but despite my best effort, it still smelled like body odor. He also was not friendly. I do not and would not ever recommend this place to anyone. If I could give less stars I would. I'm so disappointed. It's bad to be in a situation to have to have a car towed, but to have to clean the entire car is ridiculous. Please hire people that have the decency to bathe and be professional. Plus this place is crooked. They inflated the storage fees after they got my car instead of $30 a day they went up to $50 siting administration fees. This place should be put out of business read more

This company does not deserve any stars. The company was to pick up the car before the dealer service department closed at 6pm. It would then take no more than 30 mins to reach the houss. After twice being told the driver would arrive within 30 mins, I'm now told at 10:15 pm that the car was never picked up at all, and that it will be delivered tomorrow. Same as this "120 minute wait turned into a 5hr wait for me. The customer service woman on the phone was rude and short with me, and told me I am more than welcome to use any other service I like. My car got stuck at 1:30 and two two was for 3:45, therefore I got a ride and left the car and keys with the store manger where I was stuck. At about 3 I call to confirm the tow and was told that they are running late and would be 4:30. I told them that is fine but I need the car to be at my mechanic by 5, which they told me they can do. At 4 I call again to confirm and they said it will be there by 5:20, so I call my mechanic and he stays to take delivery. At 5:50 I get a call from my mechanic saying nothing arrived. I call West Cobb Towing and they said they are really sorry and they can have someone there with in the next 30 minutes. At this time I got annoyed and told them this is not going to work. Not only did no one call inform me that the tow was not going to happen according to there timeline but THEY WERE RUDE AND SHORT about the whole thing. What a JOKE! My boyfriend's insurance uses this company. I called to see how would he be able to retrieve his personal belongings from his vehicle and the lady that answered the phone was the rudest person I have ever had to converse with. First, to give you guys a description of the problem, my boyfriend's wrecked vehicle was sitting in a very steep ditch off of a very busy highway. There is an animal shelter directly across the street but it unlit at night. It's already dark outside at this point. I asked the lady how would he be able to retrieve his personal belongings once the vehicle was out of the ditch because once it's on the flat bed, he wouldn't be able to climb up to get everything. He wouldn't even be able to get everything from a tilted angle. I assumed the driver would have to put the vehicle on the flat bed to get it out of the ditch, drive to a well lit area, and then release the vehicle to a flat surface to allow access, and then put it back on the flat bed. (I have worked in the towing business and I have never heard of a tow driver releasing a wrecked insurance vehicle, off of his tow truck, to allow access to the vehicle.) Anyway, the lady proceeded to tell me and I quote " that we removed vehicles from busy highways everyday and that he will get a chance to get his personals; it's not that big of a deal and that I need to chill or she will cancel the dispatch." I immediately got furious and told my boyfriend that there were other towing companies working for his insurance company and then she hung up. He has been getting the run around for two days about this car so he decided to call back and smooth things over. People, it took her two phone calls and a long apology before she agreed to dispatch someone out. I was not the problem and there was no excuse for this. I am reporting this to his insurance company because they should investigate. The Yelp reviews alone should cause concern. Now, I am going to sit back and see how long it takes for them to arrive. I set up with the insurance company the night prior to my appointment with the dealership to have the company pick up my car. I asked for the driver to be here by 7 am. The insurance company sent me a text at 5:44 am stating the driver would be out by 6:59 am. The driver called at 7 am to say he just got the dispatch for the vehicle to be picked up. I then called the dispatch, she stated she was Becky and she was the owner of the company. She was very rude and told me that she works 7 days a week and she was very busy and did not have time to hear my complaint when she could do nothing about it. Here's the reality, if she took the time to listen to her customer, me, all I would have liked is a courtesy call to say that they were running behind and she could not send a driver until 7. After all I found out from the driver that the job was dispatched out to the night shift and it should have been their call. He apologized profusely for her behavior. I really appreciate him and his customer service because she has none and needs a lesson in customer service. If you are going to own a company, you need to set an example for your team, not your team set the example for you. I HAVE ALREADY TOLD MY INSURANCE COMPANY TO NEVER SEND THEM FOR MY VEHICLES AGAIN! read more
