Ehh EXTREMELY subpar local government as a whole. Sometime they respond and follow up, other times, they clearly don't. You're TOTALLY lucky for ANYONE, even a secretary to answer the phone at borough hall. GOOD LUCK. They say leave a message and they will call back. Say they will. Rarely get responses if at all. Lived here for three years as a tax paying homeowner. Been literally waiting for some changes that have been problems for longer than I've lived her. Very small very basic issues have been corrected very quickly. Major problems seem they'll never ever be fixed. Multiple inquiries with references and photographic proof of major and some illegal problems. Been sent in multiple times. No one does a damn thing. They Don't call anyone back for any follow up confirmation or details on anything. Doesn't matter who you call. Complete waste of time m. You'd think the borough manager would actually do something as an employee that clearly is well overpaid and clearly doesn't work very hard, if at all. Makes us local taxpayers not want to spend much time here. I've heard from many many neighbors things have never changed for the better. They're fed up too. And most of me neighbors have been here a lot longer then me. Some decades or longer.. Some of them have gone to the bogus town meetings and never get results. In one ear and out the other. A lot of turnover In this borough. Someone needs to clearly look Into the corrupt local government. Would NOT recommend buying property here. Cops are okay but Seem to never be around when you need them to be. So many illegal traffic violations all day when no one around to enforce anything or they're too busy not paying attention to anything. Can almost guarantee they're scrolling some app on their dumbphones and not actually doing anything related to the job they vowed to do. I pass them a lot and they arent even looking up at anything. Maybe even sleeping. Probably why we spent entirely too much money for these new smoked out SUVs that are tinted out so we can't see them doing nothing. . It's really sad that some other clueless person thought they were good enough to actually protect anything or anyone for a living. Been nearly hit at 23/Matsonford/Spring Garden/Front/Crawford multiple times a week. Hardly ever cops around to to enforce any laws. I wonder what the police actually do or if we actually have more that a couple part time officers who actually look up from their cell phones while on patrol. Could (Should) be a nice place to live. Could (Should)be a nice place to start and raise a family. Not so sure. Have even approached the police with very simple innocent questions and they didnt have definite answers at the time and said they dont want to give me the right or wrong answer. Totally understandable. Wasn't expecting an answer immediately.. It wasnt necessarily a very straightforward question. Left my number with them and was told I'd be called back about it. Within a day, maybe two. Never ever heard from anyone. Glad these incompetent people can't do the simplest of tasks. West Conshy ain't that big. They very clearly aren't overwhelmed with work.
