We had been using another landscape company that we were not particularly pleased with and were looking to make a change. A neighbor of ours related a story to us (knowing that we are pet lovers). One of her golden retrievers had gotten his collar caught on something and basically choked himself and stopped breathing when one of West County Garden's employees working in her yard gave the dog mouth-to-mouth and brought the dog back. After hearing that story when we had our neighbor's tree fall on our house in March, 2011, we immediately called West County Gardens. Even though we were not a previous customer, John Trovillion, the owner came over immediately and arranged for the removal of the fallen tree, and our relationship was sealed. Since that day, they have done a lot of work for us--reseeding our lawn, correcting a water/drainage problem, removing trees, and fertilization of our lawn and trees. They made recommendations for us when we recently resurfaced, our pool and changed the tile and coping. In fact, they made our existing pool deck look like new through mud-jacking, cutting out and filling cracks, caulking and resealing the entire deck. We look forward to a lifelong relationship with West County Gardens as we prepare to remove our existing landscaping in the front of our house this fall and having them do a new landscape plan and select and plant all of the new plant material. This is a great company to work with. We have used them for tree removal, stump grinding, landscaping, grass seeding, front stoop removal, paver walkway, and landscape stones, which were all very well done. John the owner is very accommodating on the front end by making helpful recommendations and giving you results that fit your needs. The work crews have all been very nice and hard working.
